Milani Baked Blush – Rose D’Oro

Hello, and happy Friday!!! Just a short review for you today:

milani baked1

I don’t remember exactly when I purchased my Milani Cosmetics Baked Blush, perhaps in May, but I only started using it about two weeks ago. I don’t have very many blushes, but after getting the Milani Rose Powder Blush and LOVING it (review here), I wanted to try another one from them.

Here’s what it says on the Milani website:

This silky blush with benefits can be used so many ways. It shapes, it contours, it highlights. Sunbaked on Italian terracotta tiles, it’s buildable from sheer to vibrant. Yes, it adds a cheeky pop of colour to your complexion. Radiance and warmth, too.

I purchased it in shade Rose D’Oro, which is described as a soft rose with a golden glow. I think that is a good description of the shade. Just look at how gorgeous it looks!

It comes with a small synthetic brush which I will be tossing in the recycling bin because it feels horrible and the shape doesn’t work for me. I’d rather use my Wayne Goss #12 brush (review here).

The Milani Baked Blush is definitely buildable, but for a pale gal like myself, I have to be careful else I will look like a clown! I think that it is a lovely shade for summer, as it adds warmth and a nice glow.

Verdict: Another great blush from Milani, I’m so glad that I took a chance on this one! I think I might have to try a few different shades once no buy July is over.

Disclosure: I purchased this!

Thanks for reading, and have a beautiful day! ❤

  1. I LOVE Milani! I have there baked blush in Luminous it is amazing. I also use it as a highlighter because it’s so light and shimmery. I bought this blush years ago, and I haven’t seen Milani in stores in a while I’m starting to panic! LOL where did you buy yours?

  2. I do like the Milani blushes! I have Luminoso, Coralina and this. I also just picked up their shimmery bronzers as well which I have used lightly on the cheeks for that summer glow.

  3. I LOVE this shade, it’s the perfect summer glow blush! ❤

I discovered Milani on my last trip to the US and also bought one of their baked blushes, looking forward to the time that I can make a return to pick up another!

I've nominated you for the Infinity Dreams Award: https://adeleinglasses.wordpress.com/2015/07/20/infinity-dreams-award

If you don't wish to take part, that's absolutely fine, I thought that you deserved the recognition anyway! 🙂

  4. Oh this is one of the more shimmery ones, I gotta pass! I really love Luminoso and Berry Amore because they’re more tame. Milani really need to release more of the matte baked ones! They release TWO shades and then said, ok we’re done? What the what, Milani! 😛
I also wish Milani would do away with the crappy little brushes they include – save some costs and pass the savings to us! 😀

    1. I completely agree with you on the brushes, they are so crap!
I don’t normally go for a shimmery blush, but if I’m careful in my application it adds more of a glow than a full-on disco ball effect (haha). I want to try Luminoso and Berry Amore!

  5. I LOVE this!! I was going to purchase it the other day but had to keep myself within my spending budget ha! Will definitely go and pick this up!

  6. This one is beautiful, but if you’re pale like myself and are looking for a subtle warmth, I’d recommend the shade Luminoso instead. It’s hard to look clownish with that one, but it’s definitely opaque. It would look gorgeous with you! ❤
