Hello Loves!!!
No reviews today. I’m getting ready for tomorrow morning’s Color Run Montreal. This is my second year of doing the Color Run. So this morning I sorted through all of my make-up to find the brightest and most glitterific colours, and I’ll be testing out a few ideas later today.
The shirt is a super thin, super soft jersey – I’d even go as far as calling it tissue jersey. Very sheer, so I’ll be wearing a bright tank top underneath. Since the t-shirt is unisex sizing, the fit is super boxy and unflattering on me, so I decided to break out my fabric scissors and try to improve it a little by cutting off the sleeve hems (to make the sleeves shorter), and cutting the high neck band off, and making a slightly scooped wider neckline.
Here’s a few of my glittery brights. I might attempt a rainbow eye, this afternoon’s experiment will be the deciding factor of whether or not I have the skills to do it well. I also have neon pink, lime green (but not metallic or glittery). If you have any suggestions on what to wear colour-wise, or tips on doing a rainbow eye, please comment (or post links).
I bought a bandana to wear during the run because last year I found that the amount of coloured dust to be a little overwhelming at times, so I plan wear it around my neck and pull it up over my mouth and nose if my allergies start to freak out, or if I start to wheeze. Look how pretty it is:
Last year I wore a rainbow tutu, which was super cute, but really annoying because it kept moving up from my waist as I ran. So this year, I think I will leave it at home. But I do have some rainbow striped arm warmers that I will wear instead.
The headband is horrible on the head, but I might wear it around my neck. I guess I’ll figure it out in the morning.
Hopefully I will be able to take a few photos tomorrow during the Color Run.
Thanks for reading, and have a beautiful day! ❤ ❤ ❤
Have Fun 🙂 I did it last year and I had a blast !!!

Looks like a fun time! I’ve seen people on the subway covered head to toe in colourful paint, haha!
Oooh rainbow eye, I saw so many on YT but one I liked was when she did a thicker white liner and placed the rainbow colours on top of the line – so it wasn’t crazy BOOM colour but it was really pretty. Good luck!

Thanks, I hope that I can pull off a rainbow eye without turning into a hot mess, haha!

Thanks! It looks a bit better now, I might scoop and widen the neckline a wee more more after I try it on with the tank top underneath and mark it with chalk so I don’t cut too much.

The bandana is a great idea! We had colour run here too and I had a hard time removing the color dust off my hair. Guess what, after the early morning run I had to go to an alumni party at my alma mater and gosh, I didn’t manage to remove them all.. I looked like a peacock! lol ✽_✽ ❤︎ laineyloveslife

It is so much fun! Not looking forward to being out of the house so early though, even though I always wake up early.
Hopefully I will be able to get a few decent photos – it is difficult with all of the coloured dust flying around.
