Yes, another Oz Naturals review.
I purchased the Oz Naturals Super Youth Eye Gel with my second bottle of Hyaluronic Acid Serum. Here’s a little info from the Oz Naturals website:

Behind The Science: Our eyes say a lot about us. Lack of sleep, a proliferation of stress, a poor diet can all affect the way our eyes look. Puffiness, bags, and dark circles do not show us at our best. Also, sun exposure and the inevitable aging process contribute to crow’s feet and even wrinkles on the upper lid. This is why OZ Naturals has created Super Youth Eye Gel. It’s an all-natural product designed to give you real results.
The key ingredients include: plant stem cells (cellular turnover), peptide complex (nourishing / moisturizing the skin), Matrixyl 3000 (repairs photo-aging and collagen), Hyaluronic Acid (hydrating / moisturizing), and Vitamin E (circulation and strengthening of capillaries, nourishing, healing).
Now onto the review!
The good: Unlike most eye creams / gels, this one doesn’t irritate my eyes. I like that this clear gel does not contain any dyes, alcohols or parabens. As well, there is no scent to this product. The skin around my eyes is more hydrated, and my eyes are less puffy in the mornings. I don’t think that I’ve been using it long enough to judge on its effect on eye wrinkles / fine lines as this tends to take several weeks of use to really see a true effect (likely 6 to 8 weeks of usage). I do however think it is is helping minimize my dark circles, although I don’t think that there is anything other than a sleep-cycle transplant that will completely cure that!
The less good: I only have one minor complaint – it does not work well with my Nyx Dark Circle Concealer (review here). The two combined causes pilling and MAJOR creasing. However, it does play nicely with my E.L.F. HD Lifting Concealer (review here), likely due to being more liquid in texture whereas the Nyx concealer is drier, and thicker. But since the eye gel does help with dark circles, I can see myself not needing to use the Dark Circle Concealer as much – which isn’t that bad really.
I will post an update after using this eye gel for a couple of months to comment on its wrinkle “eliminating” effect.
Disclosure: I purchased this!
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!!! ❤ ❤ ❤
I’m uber skeptical about plant stem cell claims…! I just don’t buy it.
I am however, interested in peptides. And the other ingredients look good.
Oooh too bad that pairing this with the NYX conceal don’t work well together – I bet the eye gel is water based and the concealer is oil based.
But I also don’t believe any claims that a topical cream can reduce dark circles… really only a good concealer / highlighting pen can reduce the appearance. Dark under eye circles can be due to heredity, allergies, lack of sleep, dehydration, other medical conditions… I just don’t think an eye cream can reduce it! Sorry, ranting over..

I don’t really understand the plant stem thing either.
I think what the eye gel actually does is hydrate and brighten the eye area which in turn minimizes the appearance of dark circles instead of actually eliminating them. Hopefully that made sense. 🙂
What amazes me is that my eyes aren’t freaking out – which normally happens with every single eye cream I’ve ever tried!
Hmm. You might be right about the concealer and gel interaction. I didn’t think of that.
You can rant any time, I like it. It gives me something to think about! 🙂

Yes, I get that it may temporarily brighten the area… I guess I just get my panties in a knot whenever I see claims about diminishing dark circles. I used to fall for it but NO MORE! 😛
But the most important thing is that this doesn’t irritate your eye area! 😀

I’ve used this with the NYX dark circle concealer and I works fine for me. Maybe the two don’t get along well on your skin type?
I’m currently trying out their new eye cream. I’ll have a review in a couple weeks.

That is good to know! Maybe my concealer has dried out – who knows!
I look forward to reading your review!

Stem cells…right! Other than that, the product sounds really good and not irritation to sensitive eyes is a big bonus.
Looking forward to your update to see how it works long term.
