Milani Colour Statement Lipstick Review – Cabaret Blend

Lawton's Mini Haul

I’ve never actually seen Milani Cosmetics here in Montreal. Ever. So when I happened to be in Nova Scotia last week, I decided to hit up the Milani display at the pharmacy near my parents house. Mini-haul post here  and review of the Nyx palette here.

I wanted to find a deep, rich, vampy shade for fall, so I picked out a Colour Statement Lipstick in shade #40, Cabaret Blend. As well, I wanted to replace the Milani lipstick in Sangria that I bought as it had continued to go off and was full-on rancid playdough scented, so it had to be pitched into the trash (review is here)

Thankfully this lipstick had the signature fruit punch / watermelon type scent that these lipsticks are supposed to have.  Cabaret Blend is described as a deep red-berry shade. The colour is so gorgeous and dramatic.

The texture is nice and the lipstick is hydrating. It was super long wearing. It only came off when I finally wiped it off. I didn’t notice any bleeding or feathering, but I did use a coordinating lipliner from Urban Decay  (Venom).

I’m in love with this shade. I’m so happy that I decided to pick this one up to replace the rancid smelling lipstick.

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!!! ❤ ❤ ❤

Disclosure: I purchased this!

      1. Only limited stock and usually at extortionate shipping prices unfortunately! I’ll write a post and tag you in it if I come across a good one! 🙂 x
