Oz Naturals Ocean Mineral Facial Cleanser Review

Oz Naturals 1

I finally used up the last of my cleanser from the Body Shop (review is here), so it was perfect timing for trying out the Oz Naturals Mineral Facial Cleanser. Here’s what it says on the Oz Naturals website:

A proprietary concentrate of 92+ Ocean Minerals in a highly bio-available therapeutic facial cleanser. These ocean minerals nourish and repair dry skin, blemishes, skin lesions, and rough, damaged skin, while botanicals soothe and stimulate cellular regeneration.

Safe for all skin types, this product is a truly restorative facial cleanser.

Oz Naturals 3

The points that stand out for me are the nourishing and repairing of dry skin, and soothing and stimulating of cells. The key ingredients in this cleanser are Ocean Minerals (for cellular function), Vitamin E (an antioxidant, for repair), Rosehip Oil (for regeneration), Methylsulfonylmethane / MSM (for renewal). For the science-y and ingredient conscious types, here’s the full list of ingredients:

Organic Herbal Infusion, Organic Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera), Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), Lavandula Officinalis (Lavender Water), Decyl Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Cocamidopropyl Betaine (from coconuts), Cocamide MIPA, Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Ocean Mineral Complex, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Carrageenan Gum, Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage Essential Oil), Olea Europaea (Olive Oil), Organic Rosa Canina (Rose Hip Oil), Borago Officinalis (Borage Oil), Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange Peel Tincture), Origanum Compactum (Oregano Oil), Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree Oil), Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit Seed ), Organic Calendula Officinalis (Calendula), Origanum Arctium Lappa (Burdock Root), Organic Trifolium Pratense (Red Clover), Organic Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin.

Ok, now onto the review:

Oz Naturals 5

The Oz Naturals Ocean Mineral Facial Cleanser is a clear, not quite a gel, cleanser, with an extremely minimal scent. I found it to be very gentle on my sensitive skin, with no feeling of stripping / dryness after using, nor does it feel like it leaves a residue on the skin.  Surprisingly, my skin did not react negatively to this cleanser, despite there being tea tree oil in its formulation, which I have reacted to in the past. I think that this would be a great cleanser for anyone with sensitive skin, unless you have an allergy to any of the ingredients.

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!!! ❤ ❤ ❤

Disclosure: I was given this product by Oz Naturals in exchange for an honest review.

  1. Hi Jodi, sorry I haven’t stopped by in a while. I’ve been so busy and stressed out but that’s not really an excuse! This product looks amazing, shame I can’t try it because of the Lavender 😦 As always you’ve written an excellent review though xx
