ColourPop Mini Haul November 2015 – Super Shock Shadow in Stereo

Happy Friday! Here is the final swatching post from this month’s mini haul from ColourPop, posts for the Lippie Stix here and the Super Shock Cheek highlighters here. Today I’m showing you the Super Shock Shadow in Stereo.

Stereo: “Someone will definitely blast “In Your Eyes” outside your bedroom window if you wear this Blackened burgundy with copper and pink violet duo chrome glitter sprinkled on top in a Metallic finish.” In the packaging and with the lid on, Stereo looks more brown toned burgundy than coppery and pink violet as described. *This one was VERY difficult to photograph, so I tried to shoot it from different angles.*

Instructions for use:

For maximum coverage: Use fingertip and tap shadow onto eye lid. A flat, fine tip synthetic brush will work fabulously as well and is actually better for a more detailed application close to the lash line. However, your fingertips make for the most intense application. To blend: Use a fluffy brush that has good movement, dip tip of the brush into the shadow and blend with a “wind shield wiper” movement throughout the crease of the eye. This will make your shadow softer and more diffused (like a total pro). When finished, close that sucker up tight! Don’t leave the jar opened for long periods of time, you may lose some of the magic that makes the Super Shock Shadow so amazzzing.

This final photo is the best representation of Stereo, colour-wise. It best shows the duo-chrome flecks of copper and pinky violet. If you apply it very sparingly, it appears as a blackened shadow with just a hint of sparkle. To get the gorgeous duo-chrome effect, you will have to apply it using the “patting” technique described above.

  1. Whatever name you call it either as a burgundy or a deep purple shade, I totally love it and I have exactly similar shade in Dior and I totally adore it all the time while wearing. Moreover, this pretty tint is perfect to wear on special occasions and parties as well.
