One of my favourite cruelty-free and vegan cosmetic brands is Concrete Minerals. In my excitement about my Black Friday order, and because the lovely Gym Bag Make-Up asked me about them, I decided to show you swatches of everything that I already own from them so you can see how pigmented they are.
All are swatched over the Electric Eye Primer from Concrete Minerals. Any patchiness in the swatches are because I was using my fingers (I had just washed my brushes and they were still drying). Descriptions in italics are taken from the Concrete Minerals website.
Up first are the Mineral Eye Shadows:
viva los muertos (Electric pink w/ purple shift) , vanity (True, glittery gold), ether (Gunmetal silver) and croma (Shimmery lavender w/ aqua sparkle)
swamped (Deep green w/ golden undertones), sabotage (Black w/ pink sparkle & sheen), kinky (Black-base teal w/ rainbow sparkle) and nocturne (no longer on the website, but I would call it deep mossy green-black w/ silvery glitter)
souljourner (Midnight blue with copper sparkle), black metal (Black w/ silver sparkle), seance (Deep purple w/ lavender sheen), and blood & guts (Rusty red w/ bright aqua shift)
wicked (Medium purple w/ aquamarine shift), rocked (Soft, neutral peach w/ violet sheen), angel dust (Pink-lavender w/ bright aquamarine shift), and strobelight (no longer on the website, but I would call it a silvery blue grey)
And now for the Pro Mattes:
ravage (Bright matte purple), thrash (Matte forest green), bulletproof (Electric matte blue), and bruise (Matte navy blue)
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!!! ❤ ❤ ❤
By the way, I hit 500 followers over the weekend, and I’m hosting my very first giveaway to celebrate. Check it out here if you would like to enter!

Yay! I’m so stoked that you were able to swatch all of these!
How do you like the Electric Eye Primer? I’ve been waffling on trying it out for a while now and keep not taking the plunge just because it’s not in a squeeze tube.
Swamped looks absolutely amazing! It kind of reminds me of Lemmy from the Kat Von D Mi vida Loca palette (by far the prettiest shade in the palette). Seance is stunning too! And Thrash! And Bulletproof (holy pigmentation Batman!) Welp I know what I’m getting myself for Christmas now 🙂
Great post!!

I haven’t tried many eye primers – only fyrinnae pixie epoxy, this one and the urban decay primer potion – but I find tha the electric eye primer works amazing for loose pigments / shadows but can pill with some pressed shadows. Swamped is hella awesome! Actually they all are pretty awesome!

Primers are tricky. I actually kind of hate them all on principle but they are a necessary evil. Especially with loose pigments.
