I’ve been using the Clear Bloom Cleansing Oil from Farmacy at night for two weeks now. This is the first product from Farmacy that I’ve tried. This is also the first cleansing oil that I’ve used.
The cleansing oil has a mildly herbal smell. Here’s the instructions for use taken from the website:
Use daily to remove makeup and surface impurities. Pour a small amount into palm and blend with a few drops of water. Mix until a silky milk forms. Massage onto skin with upward and outward motions. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
I have to comment on how gorgeous the packaging is, you slide the outer sleeve off to find an origami type box that opens up – just look at how beautiful it is!
Key ingredients:
Powered By EchinaceaGreenEnvy™. A unique patent-protected variant of Echinacea Purpurea, GreenEnvy™ contains the highest known concentration of the phytochemical Cichoric Acid, a potent natural antioxidant which helps protect and firm the skin by inhibiting the enzymes that break down collagen. […] Cichoric Acid also normalizes the skin pigmentation process to promote a more evenly toned complexion.
Safflower Oil, a natural solvent for oil-based makeup, helps remove makeup gently. […] Super moisturizing Sunflower Oil leaves the skin feeling smooth and soft with no greasy residue, while also aiding in the repair of the skin barrier function with essential fatty acids.
This sounds so nice, and I adore that packaging! I’ll have to keep an eye out for it, for when I finish up my current oils.

You can get it at Sephora. What oils are you using? 🙂

Oh for some reason I haven’t noticed it there! Makes sense 🙂
I’m currently trying to use up oils from Josie Maran, The Face Shop, and Clinique (the cleansing balm). I like them all to a certain extent, but feel I need to try more brands before I commit 😀

I’ve heard good things about the Josie Maran one, but yeah I understand the need to try all the things, haha!

The packaging is so nice! I looked up this product and it’s pretty pricey for what it is. I am currently using the Muji Sensitive Skin Cleansing Oil, its first ingredient is olive oil and only costs less than $15. I did a quick review of it here:

I’ve about half way through the bottle now and it’s now firmly in my top 3 favourite cleansing oils!

Very cool, I’m new to cleansing oils, but so far I like them! I used my Sephora gift card, so it made this so much less expensive 🙂

Using gift cards for expensive items is the BEST! 😀 I love cleansing oils so if you want any suggestions, please feel free to ask! 🙂

Which other ones are your faves?

Since I know you prefer natural / cruelty free options, I’ll only name the ones that fit that bill:
Silk Naturals Apricot Cleansing Oil:

Not sure if Origins is ok in your books? I really liked Clean Energy Gentle Cleansing Oil.
Also not sure if Body Shop is ok either? But their I like their Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil.
Hope that helped. 🙂

Thanks so much, I will check them out! Body Shop is ok, not sure about Origins – I will look them up to see if they are cf or not.

I love cleansing oils as they are so great in removing the makeup in no time at all and they are also very good in taking out all the makeup away from the face.

Totally – I have several products that I rotate into use when I’m not testing out something new!

Same! I think that’s the way, as weather changes and skin needs a different pampering depending on a season.
