Naruko Canada Eye and Cheek Sheet Masks

I recently received a box of products to try from Naruko Canada. For a sneak peak at all of the lovely treats that I received and am in the process of testing out, see here.

Naruko Canada Eye & Cheek Masks

Today we have two eye masks – the NRK Vitamin K Up All Night Eye Mask, and the NRK Peptide Purrty Kitty Eye Mask, and one cheek mask – the Naruko Apple Seed & Tranexamic Acid Cheek Spot Mask. Sheet masks are something that I have been wanting to try for ages, so I was very excited to try these out!

First up are the eye masks, beginning with the NRK Vitamin K Up All Night Eye Mask. Here’s what is says on the website:

Benefits: Effectively improves dark circles and eye circulation while providing long-lasting moisture. Gives you bright, hydrated skin around the eyes.

Directions: After cleansing, secure ear hooks of eye mask behind ears. Then smooth mask evenly around eyes and wait for 15-20 minutes. Remove mask and continue with usual skincare routine.

Skin Type: All skin types.

Formulated WITHOUT:  – Parabens – Sulfates

My experience: The morning that I used this eye mask, I was up super late, and only had about 4 hours of sleep, so my eyes were puffy and it was obvious that I was sleep deprived. Upon opening the package, there was lots of the essence / serum. At first I found it difficult to get the eye masks in the right place because there was so much essence in the eye sheets making them a little slippery. I left them on for the full 20 minutes, and wow, my undereye area looked completely smooth and hydrated! The puffiness was GONE! This one was awesome, I would definitely want to have a box of these eye masks on hand.

Here’s what it says on the website about the NRK Peptide Purrty Kitty Eye Mask:

Benefits: Fortifies the elasticity and firmness of the eye area while diminishing fine lines. Gives you tight, smooth skin around the eyes.

My experience: This one did not fit my face properly, the eyeholes were too small, and the “ear hooks” did not reach as far as my ears, so I just pressed the mask around my eyes and kept them closed to avoid getting any of the essence / serum into my eyes. This one had a floral scent, but thankfully it was faint enough that it didn’t bother me other than the fact that I couldn’t identify what the scent was. After removing and massaging the essence into my skin, it had a hydrating effect, which helps minimize fine lines. I liked the Vitamin K Up-All-Night Eye mask better than this one.

Here’s what it says about the Apple Seed & Tranexamic Acid Cheek Spot Mask:

Benefits: Precise Lightening the Spots on the cheeks

Directions: After cleansing, apply the mask for 10-15 minutes and remove the mask, gently pat remaining essence until fully absorbed. Continue with skin care routine.

Skin Type: All Skin types

Formulated WITHOUT: – Parabens – Sulfates

My experience: Like the eye masks, the NRK Apple Seed cheek mask contained lots of essence / serum, and had no real scent to it. I found this mask to be very large on my face, but I guess that if it is for your cheeks, then it really should cover your cheeks fully! I left this one on for a full 15 minutes. My skin felt refreshed and looked brighter in tone. I can’t really comment on its effect on skin discolouration and/or  dark spots, because I don’t really have any, but I know that for most products used for dark spots, you need to use them for several weeks to achieve any real results.

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day! ❤ ❤ ❤
