Hello, hello! Today I’m continuing the swatchfest from my most recent Concrete Minerals haul, this time with the Pro-Matte Eyeshadows.
Pro-Mattes: The website descriptions are in italics.
Wednesday – (Stormy medium-grey) We never knew we could need a grey eyeshadow so much until we came up with this shade. It seems to truly embody the doom and gloom that we love so much about Wednesday Addams!
I have so many grey toned shadows in my collection, but this is my first matte grey shade.
Notorious – (Bright magenta-purple)
Holy brightness batman! This one is INCREDIBLE ❤
The Nude Pro-Mattes: I have very few neutral matte shades in my collection, so I thought that I would start with these ones.
Cosmonaut – (Pale cream nude)
So soft, and creamy. It nearly matches my skintone!
Bandit – (Soft dusty rose)
This one is really soft and pretty, I think it is more rosy brown nude than dusty rose on my skin, but I still love it.
Disturbia – (Warm chocolate-brown)
This one makes me want to have a cup of hot chocolate. It is really is a beautiful chocolatey shade. The photo does not truly show how chocolatey that this colour is in real life!

Isn’t it so crazy pigmented? The swatches are done without primer, so can you imagine if I actually used it with primer?

I’ve never gotten into loose pigments (too messy, I’m too clumsy!) but the colors are just stunning!

My collection has more loose pigments than pressed at this point, but when I first started, wow, there was a definite learning curve, but primer helps a lot!

Wow, Notorious is hardcore! Cosmonaut would make the perfect brow bone matte highlight. I’ve been fond of using matte for the brow bone lately.

I know, I probably won’t use Notorious a lot, but I had to get it, especially to wear on dreary grey days!
I’m just getting into nude / neutral shades, but yeah, that it how I picture using it as well. 🙂

Wow! Awesome shades! To be honest, when I looked into the packaging of the product, it resembles more like Maybelline Color tattoo eye shadows and the only difference is that it comes as a pressed gel concentrate whereas here, it comes as a loose pigmented powder. Besides, those swatches look so great. Great post!

Notorious is insane! That is so pretty! And I really like Bandit as well.
My next makeup purchase definitely needs to be from Concrete Minerals.
