Hello, hello! Just a short little review of two soaps from The Body Shop – Shea Soap and Olive Soap.
Here’s what it says about the Shea Soap:
BEST IF YOU WANT TO: Cleanse and moisturize your skin in one step with a vegetable-based soap that has a fresh, creamy scent everyone will enjoy.
BEST FOR: very dry skin
Here’s what it says about the Olive Soap:
Cleanse away the stress of the day while detoxing body and soul with the light and fresh scent of The Body Shop Olive Soap. This vegetable-based soap softens skin with Community Trade Olive Oil from Italy.
My experience: Both of these soaps are super creamy and really moisturizing on my skin. I like that they have a very mild scent. Perfect soaps for sensitive skin, unless you have a sensitivity or allergy to shea butter or olive oil.
I just realized that the Shea Soap resembles a peeled potato. But I assure you that it is soap!
I collect china tea cups. I will probably start using them as props, since they are so pretty and spring-like.
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day! ❤
Disclosure: I purchased these things!
love the way you displayed xxxxxxxxx woah xxx have a great weekend xx

I’ve not tried the bar soaps from Body Shop – they look great. Have you ever tried the Olive soap from Kiss My Face? It’s my favourite!

I haven’t tried that soap, I’ll keep my eyes open for it the next time I’m out and about! Lush has (or had, I haven’t been in awhile) a lovely olive shower gel – maybe called the olive branch – I’m not 100% sure of the name.

I love your tea cups! Very unique and beautiful props. These soaps sound great, I am a huge fan of the L’Occitane Olive Oil Soap but it is quite expensive. These sound like they would be great substitutions. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, I love my little tea cup collection!
The body shop usually has the soaps on sale these days, so it is worth checking it out – I think I got 4 soaps for $12 Canadian if I remember correctly.

Thats awesome and less than one bar of the L’Occitane one. I’ll check it out, thanks!

I always used shea butter based moisturiser and hence I’m sure, I will definitely love that soap.

Which one do you use? Shea butter is so lovely on the skin!

I’m a regular user of Soap&Glory The righteous butter and it has shea butter as the main component.

Beautiful tea cups! I have only tried the soaps from TBS that are clearish, I don’t know if that makes the formulation different from these opaque ones. Great that you like them for dry skin!

Thanks!
I think that the clear soaps are glycerine based. But I’m not 100% sure.
I really like these ones because they are really moisturizing but not at all greasy, and they have a nice mild scent.

Ah yeah, that makes sense. I’ll try these soaps next time I’m by a TBS!

Your teacups and saucers are gorgeous! Definitely digging them as props! Do you collect from antique shops mostly? I’ve been wanting to start at least a small collection:)
