I’ve been testing out a few new skincare items for a few weeks now. Today I’m reviewing the Sukin Foaming Facial Cleanser.
Here’s what it says on the Sukin website:
This sulphate free wash provides a gentle, non – drying cleanser to remove impurities leaving your skin feeling soft, clear and clean. Combines chamomile, aloe vera, witch hazel and green tea with macadamia and evening primrose oils to purify and balance your skin. Suitable for all skin types especially oily and sensitive.
And here’s the ingredient list:
Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Cocoamidopropyl Betaine, Decyl Glucoside, PEG-150 Pentaerythrityl Tetrastearate, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract (Chamomile), Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (Green Tea), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Glycerin, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil (Rose Hip), Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Vanillin, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Limonene*, Linalool*. * Natural component of essential oils.
My experience:
This cleanser is so lovely and gentle for my sensitive skin. And surprisingly, you only need the smallest amount to wash your face. My skin feels so soft and clean when I use this. I’m so in love with the scent of this cleanser, it is very mild. The main scents that I smell are tangerine, mandarin orange, lavender and vanilla. My skin is so happy since I started using this cleanser.

I’ve been curious about this brand for a while – this cleanser sounds SO nice! Maybe I’ll get it the next time it’s on sale at Rexall.

This sounds lovely! I’ve got way too many cleansers right now to use up but it’s on my list of ones to try. Where did you buy yours? I’ve seen this at Winners lately.

It doesn’t foam a lot, but most products without sls / sles don’t have much foaming.

This sounds like such a great cleanser! Im just not the biggest fan of vanilla – is the scent strong?

It is very subtle. I just have a sensitive nose and can distinguish the various scents. Not perfumey at all.
