Sukin Purifying Facial Masque Review

Hello, hello!

As you probably know, I absolutely love facial masks. I knew that I had to try the Purifying Facial Masque from Sukin.

Sukin Purifying Facial Masque

Here’s what it says on the website:

A purifying base of gentle Kaolin clay combined with soothing aloe vera and antioxidant rich rose hip oil will leave skin feeling refreshed, nurtured and completely clean. Paraben Free.
TIP: A tingling sensation may be felt on application of this product. This is the clay drawing on the pores and is completely normal.

And here’s the ingredient list:

Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Bentonite, Talc, Kaolin, Lecithin, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil (Rose Hip), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Citric Acid, Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Vanillin, Vanilla Planifolia Extract, CI 77491, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Limonene*, Linalool*. * Natural component of essential oils.

My Experience:

This mask did not disappoint! It really is soothing and gentle. My skin feels so clean and fresh when I use this facial mask. I was nervous when I read that a tingling sensation might be felt upon application, because often the “tingle” feels more like a burn to my sensitive skin but I definitely did not feel any tingle or burn.

As with the other Sukin products that I’ve tried and reviewed, this mask smells so lovely (but mild and not at all perfume-y) due to the essential oils of tangerine, mandarin orange, lavender, vanilla and grapefruit.

When the mask dries, it makes me look like a spray tan gone horribly wrong, with a definite oompa-loompa resemblance, haha! It washes off easily, unlike most clay based masks.

In case you missed my other Sukin reviews, I’ve already reviewed the Foaming Facial Cleanser (here), and the Hydrating Toner Mist (here).

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day! ❤

Disclosure: I purchased this!

  1. I’ve been curious about this one. I love clay masks but I’ve got a couple in my stash so I’ll hold off but this will be on my list of ones to buy! I haven’t used any clay masks that are this colour though – most are green / white / pink. 😛 I can look like a Ganguro girl!

    The scent sounds divine though!
