Hello, hello!
Today I’m reviewing another product recommendation from Stashy at Stash Matters – the Sensitive Elixir (Calming Skin Serum) from Saje Natural Wellness. Not only did she recommend the product, she actually brought me (and Cat from My Lip Addiction) to the Queen Street West store during our epic meet-up!
Saje Natural Wellness is a Canadian company, with a focus on the power of nature, 100% all natural ingredients, using real essential oils (no synthetics!), free from parabens (and other nasties), support sustainable practices (renewable resources), and are cruelty-free. And their packaging is made of recycled and / or recyclable materials!
As you all know, I have sensitive skin. So anything that might help keep my skin happy is a good thing. Here’s what it says on the website:
Sensitive Elixir helps to restructure delicate, sensitive skin that is usually dry and easily irritated. Sensitive skin is thin, and therefore has the blood supply closer to the surface, which often shows the capillaries and blood vessels. Skin-rejuvenating oils of rosehip, grape seed, apricot, and evening primrose are infused with skin-nourishing geranium, rosewood, roman chamomile and lavender essential oils to regenerate the skin. Massage Sensitive Elixir into freshly-cleansed and toned skin to nourish and increase blood circulation.
I’ve been using this serum nearly every single night since purchasing it in May. Normally when the weather starts to change, my skin becomes super sensitive and irritated. But not this year! This oil based serum is gentle and soothing, hydrating without making my skin feel greasy. At first I found the rosewood scent to be a little strong, but I’m getting used to it, and now I really love it! And at $19.95 CAD per 30ml bottle, it is an affordable serum.
Ingredients:
rosa canina (rosehip) fruit Β oil, vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, oenothera biennis (evening primrose) oil, and essential oils of pelargonium graveolens (geranium), aniba rosaeodora (rosewood), anthemis nobilis (roman chamomile) flower and lavandula angustifolia (lavender).
There are so many things that I want to try from Saje – their skincare, bath and body care, natural deodorants, their nebulizer / diffusers, and their essential oil blends – just to name a few things, haha!
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day! β€
Disclosure: I purchased this!

I’m so glad you found this to help your skin! I agree, the scent was a bit strong initially, but I have really enjoyed the spa-like smell now. I used this last night, actually! π There are lots more items I want to try at Saje too, esp their skincare!
