Today I’m reviewing my newest addition to my lipstick collection – a Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick from Nyx in the shade Tea & Cookies, a muted tea rose pink.

Yes, another tea rose shade. What can I say, I love this colour for summer!
This is not an uncomfortable liquid matte lipstick. My lips felt nice for several hours before I needed any lip balm, which for me is amazing because I normally apply lip balm all the time! I did not find it to be crumbly or wear off weirdly – which is often a problem with some liquid matte lipsticks.

I love both shades! They are different enough that I can justify having both of them.

It is surprisingly nice to wear. I can’t stand mattes that make my lips feel like they will fall off!

I bought this in amethyst and could not get the stupid thing to set. With wind and long hair I just ended up with purple all over my damn face! The colour was great but I’m not a huge advocate for the formula

Oh no! That is one of the reasons why I don’t like lipgloss, it just attracts my hair and smudges everywhere!

They finally started stocking the lip suedes at my pharmacy! I was tempted to buy several but decided to just get one to test first.

I wanted the grey one so badly when they launched here in April – but they were sold out everywhere. Think I’ve talked myself out of the grey now – but still interested in trying the formula as I’m a fan on the Soft Matte Lip Creams!

I just got the Mega Shine lip gloss when I was visiting Vancouver in Tea Rose and love it. I want to try these liquid creams now too.
