Sukin Revitalizing Facial Scrub – A Sensitive Skin Review

Hello, hello!

Today I’m reviewing the Revitalizing Facial Scrub from Sukin. I find that a lot of exfoliating facial scrubs to be too harsh for my sensitive skin.

Here’s what is says on the website:

This gentle cleanser uses non-abrasive, micro particles of bamboo extract and ground walnut shells to remove dirt and impurities leaving clean, radiant skin.
Aloe vera and chamomile work to soothe skin and rose hip, jojoba and sesame replenish and protect the skin’s moisture barrier.

I read several reviews in which people complained that it wasn’t “scrubby” enough. The product very clearly states that it is GENTLE and NON-ABRASIVE, and people are surprised?

For my sensitive skin, this creamy facial scrub is both soothing and gently exfoliating. You really do not need a rough scrub, all that does is damage your skin. I think that all skin types could use this facial scrub, but they do make one specifically targeted for oily skins. My skin feels smooth and looks radiant when I use this.

Ingredients:

Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Bambusa Arundinacea Stem Extract (Bamboo), Juglans Regia (Walnut) Shell Powder, Glycerin, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil (Rose Hip), Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract (Chamomile), Arctium Lappa Root Extract (Burdock), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Citrus Tangerina (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin Orange) Peel Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Vanillin, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Linalool,* Limonene.* *Natural component of essential oils.

The Revitalizing Facial Scrub has that mild “Sukin” scent that I just love – tangerine, mandarin, lavender, vanilla. Another great one from Sukin!

Have you tried this facial scrub? What is your favourite facial scrub?

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day! ❤

Disclosure: I purchased this!

  1. I love it when people say a scrub isn’t scrubby enough because that means I can probably tolerate it! I’ve seen this at Winners – I might pick it up if I spot it again! My favourite scrub is actually from a Canadian brand, Vasanti. Some people think it’s TOO abrasive but the trick is to re-wet your skin when scrubbing. I also use it as a mask because it’s got enzymes in it!
