Today I’m reviewing my first Ultra Glossy Lip from ColourPop in the shade My Jam.
My Jam is described as “a warm golden nude shimmering with silver and gold in a Metallic finish”.
My Jam feels like a hybrid between the Ultra Metallic and a traditional lip gloss. Shade-wise, on me, it is a sheer, light, peachy nude, and the metallic effect casts more silver in tone than gold. In some light, it has a frosted appearance.
As I’ve said many times, I’m not a huge fan of how glosses feel on my lips, but this one is light and comfortable on the lips, and feels lighter than most glosses. And most importantly, it does not have that sticky, goopy feeling that I hate. That being said, I do prefer the look and feel of Man Eater to this one.
Have you tried any of the Ultra Glossy Lips? Are you a gloss fan, or are you like me, and dislike how most of them feel on the lips?

Ah I’m so jealous! The colour pop lip glosses/lip creams look amazing, I just can’t afford to sell my should for all the postage and shipping! I just keep dreaming of all the pretty pictures I could take of them for my blog, but this was a great post. Made me want it! xx

I know, the international shipping is often quite high! That is why I try to only buy when the exchange rate is good!

I don’t like glossy lips on myself at all, similar to you, it’s mostly to do with how they feel. And, my hair always ends up getting stuck to gloss, boo! Pretty shade though, but I agree, Man Eater is the better of the two!

I wish my shade looked like that on me. 😦 Mine is bronze, leaning more towards brown and yeah, the silver shows through way more than the gold. I like it but I was expecting the shade to be more like this.
