Ipsy Glam Bag March 2017 Unboxing / First Impressions

Hello, hello!

Yes, you read that right, this is my March Ipsy Glam Bag unboxing. Why? Because my March bag got lost in the mail, and they sent out a replacement bag and it arrived after my April Glam Bag! Ipsy CS had warned me that I might not get the products that were picked for me in my first bag, but surprisingly enough, everything in the replacement bag was what I was originally supposed to receive.

Bag design: pale pink fold over type bag, with the face having a honeycomb textured weave, and with the back being plain. It is a cute bag. The month’s theme was “You are Beautiful”.

Product #1: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer (cruelty free)

Ipsy Glam Bag Mar 2017

I’m super happy to get this one, I’ve used it before I started blogging and I remember liking it. I’m saving it for my summer vacation, so I won’t be opening it until then.

Product #2: Tarte Tarteist Lip Paint in Rosé (cruelty free)

Ipsy Glam Bag Mar 2017

At first glance it appears to be nearly the same shade as Birthday Suit (in the 2017 Sephora Beauty Insider Birthday Gift). But I like this shade better. I’ve swatched them side by side for comparison.

Product #3: Marc Anthony Deep Repair Aloe and Jasmine Conditioning Treatment

Ipsy Glam Bag Mar 2017

I own other products from Marc Anthony that have the not tested on animals logo on the packaging, so something must have changed on the past year since this one does not, nor do other products that I’ve looked at recently. I really don’t like the scent of jasmine in most products, but thankfully the aloe vera makes this passable scent-wise for me. I haven’t done more than just sniff this. I might pass it onto someone…

Product #4: Elizabeth Mott Blending Brush (cruelty free)

Ipsy Glam Bag Mar 2017

I love getting brushes in my Ipsy Glam Bag. This is a cute little blending brush. I wish that the handle was a bit longer, but that is just a personal preference thing.

Product #5: Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow in Marisa (cruelty free)

Ipsy Glam Bag Mar 2017

This is so tiny! The outer packaging made it look like we were getting a nice sized pan, but it is so mini!

So there you have it, it is a pretty good bag, for March.

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day! ❤

Disclosure: I pay for this monthly subscription.

  1. I got a Doucce blush once and the box was huge but the pan inside was miniscule! LMAO!

So glad you finally got your bag with everything that was supposed to be in it. Ipsy are pretty good with the CS.

Marc Anthony has jasmine-scented hair stuff? ~runs to drugstore~

  2. Glad you received a replacement bag containing what you were originally supposed to get!
The Tarte Tarteist Lip Paint in Rosé looks nice. 🙂
The Elizabeth Mott Blending Brush reminds me of a Sonia Kashuk brush I have – it’s great for blending out edges on an eye shadow!

  3. I had no idea that FAB made a facial Ultra Repair Moisturizer – I love the body one in the winter when my excema acts up! I’ll have to look into that one.

Love the colour on that blending brush – so pretty!
