Hello, hello!

Today I have a review of a lip balm that I was gifted last year (thanks Stashy!), and I actually got a second one gifted to me for my birthday this year (thanks R)! I’ve been using the first one for several months now. Since I’m a lip balm addict, having a second one is awesome!

The Capital Vices Skull Lip Balm is made by Rebels Refinery, a Toronto-based company (yay Canada!).

The description in italics is taken from their website:

Function meets design with the Capital Vices Collection Skull Lip Balm. The highest quality coconut and sweet almond oils moisten, nourish and protect while Vitamin E provides essential antioxidants. The bottom of each balm is also embossed w/ the quotation: “Be all my sins remember’d”- Hamlet

Not only is the lip balm really cool looking in its skull shaped container, it is actually a really great lip balm! It is super moisturizing, and is crafted using natural and mostly organic ingredients (97% natural / 90% organic).

Ingredients: Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Beeswax (Cera Alba / Cire d’abeille), Canola Oil (Canola / Huile de colza), Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Honey (Mel / Miel), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Limonene (mint contains peppermint oil) (passion fruit contains natural passion fruit flavoring)

  4. So awesome that not one but TWO people looked at this pink skull and thought, “hey, Jodi would LOVE this!” XD
    I was so impressed with this lipbalm quality – I’ve used mine up and am in search of replacing it (but they’re sold out of the passion fruit flavour for the time being).

  7. I really like it when you find a good lip balm that’s also in a nice looking container. Even better if it’s passion fruit flavour, one of my favourites. This looks so cool, I already have too many lip balms but I’m tempted to search for it online somewhere.
