Hello, hello!
I’m still working my way through my stash of all things skin, body and haircare. And I’m still mostly only purchasing things as I use them up.
Let’s take a look at what I managed to finish this month:
SKINCARE:
MyChelle Dermaceuticals Refining Sugar Cleanser (PR sample) – original review is here. I absolutely loved this gentle scrub! I have this on my wishlist to replace once I use up a few more things in my stash.
Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads – original review is here. I think I’m going to buy the full size of this one.
Tarte Brighter Days Moisturizer – original review is here. This was just ok. I won’t be buying the full size of this one.
BODY AND HAIRCARE:
Ingenium Naturals CuraTif Body Salve (PR sample) – original review here. This is so good when my skin is dry. I loved this one! I still have a bunch of body lotions / creams to use up, so for now this is going on my wishlist.
Marc Anthony Clear Dry Shampoo – I bought this and used it for two weeks before I realized that it might not be cruelty free. I have some older hair goop from Marc Anthony that says that they don’t test on animals, but newer products no longer have that on the label. I won’t be re-purchasing. The CoLab dry shampoos are my fave so far.
MAKEUP:
Tokyo Milk Dark Lip Elixir – I won this in a giveaway back in 2015. I loved this lip balm, but I have so many to use up!
Nyx HD Concealer – original review here. I love this concealer and I’ve already re-purchased it, this time in the shade light (I had porcelain in the winter).
Have you tried any of these products?
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day! ❤
Disclosure: All purchased by me except for products identified as PR samples.
Very interesting. Have a beautiful day and enjoy your next w.e.

I remember you raving about the Tokyo Milk lip balm! I’ve been trying to find it ever since. 😛
Great job on all the empties!

I saw them at Sephora ages ago, in the little stands on the way to the cash registers.

Great post, I use the Nip & Fab pads, but the ‘extreme’ version…I don’t think they’re extreme really but I use them every few nights and my skin seems to suit them 🙂

I’d be nervous to try the extreme ones since my skin is so sensitive! Someone else mentioned that they use the extreme ones as well.

I tried them because Caroline Hirons mentioned they’re not actually that strong. Think it’s more that there’s extra acids in there and not just glycolic. Sensitive skin is something I don’t have though so certainly don’t go by me!! Haha! 😋

I always do a patch test before trying anything on my face, better safe than sorry!

Definitely! My sister reacts to all sorts! I’m quite lucky in that respect but I don’t push it that’s for sure!

How did I miss this?
That Tokyomilk dark lip elixir looks good! And well done for finishing it. At the moment I’m using 4 lip balms and a lip gloss. The madness continues! 😀 But maybe I can finish all of them together. THAT would be awesome!

I still have so many lip balms in my stash, so I totally understand!

Seeing your Tokoyo Milk lip balm reminded me that I have one of those in my stash that I haven’t even cracked open, yet I keep buying more lip balms. I kind of hate lip balms in tins like that though.
That’s disappointing that Marc Anthony no longer seems to be cruelty-free 😦 although I tried that dry shampoo and I hated it. Good job on the empties!

I know! I had also bought a shampoo and conditioner at the same time that I loved, but I won’t purchase again unless they return to bring cruelty free!

I only use the tin lip balms at home to reduce the germ factor!

I know! I didn’t like dry shampoo, but I’d tried a shampoo and conditioner that I loved, but won’t repurchase unless the return to cruelty free status.
