Hello, hello!
Today I have a review of the Sea Foam Complete Face Wash from Pacifica that I purchased recently from well.ca. This is my first time using anything from the Pacifica skincare line.
Harness the power of the ocean with marine extracts. Coconut water and natural sea vegetables and antioxidants come together in our gentle, sulfate-free foaming cleanser that removes daily toxins and make-up.
This is a gentle, yet super effective facial cleanser. It foams up easily and washes away without leaving a filmy residue. My skin feels super clean without feeling dry or stripped.
However, the Sea Foam Complete Face Wash is very much a coconut scented product. As you all know, I really do not like coconut scents. When I chose this cleanser, I figured that it would have a fresh ocean type scent. Sadly, I was mistaken. Thankfully the scent fades quickly because it is a really nice facial cleanser.
Here’s the ingredient list – I love that they explain the purpose of each ingredient:
purified water {solubulizer}, cocomidopropyl betaine (coconut source) {cleanser}, sodium cocoyl glutamate (coconut source) {cleanser}, sodium cocoyl sulfoacetate (coconut source) {cleanser}, sodium cocoamphoacetate {cleanser}, decyl glucoside (corn source) {cleanser}, aloe barbadensis leaf juice {skin conditioning}, glycerin (vegetable) {emollient}, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate {vitamin c}, glycol stearate {emollient}, carica papaya extract {enzyme to improve skin texture}, lemon bioflavanoids {antioxidant}, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil {skin conditioning}, cocos nucifera (coconut) water {emollient}, citric acid {PH balancing}, tocopherol acetate {skin conditioning}, panthenol {skin conditioning}, NaPCA {moisture binding}, allantoin{skin conditioning}, nori extract {thickener}, garcinia mangostana peel extract (mangosteen) {extract for skin support}, camellia sinensis leaf extract (white tea) {antioxidant}, sea algae extract {extract for skin support}, sodium benzoate {preservative}, potassium sorbate {preservative}, ethylhexylglycerin {preservative}, fragrance (all natural) {scent}.
Pacifica is 100% vegan, and cruelty-free.
I won’t be repurchasing this one due to my dislike of things coconut scented. I will finish it up though since it is a super gentle and effective facial cleanser.
Have you tried any of the cleansers from Pacifica? What is your fave?
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!
Disclosure: I purchased this!
I don’t know why so many companies make coconut-scented toiletries. It’s such a polarising fragrance!

I’ve never tried anything by Pacifica but I’ve been eyeing up their fragrances lately – they smell so good. Unfortunate that this isn’t your scent preference; while I like coconut scented things I’m picky about how it smells, I hate anything synthetic or too overpowering. Sounds like a nice cleanser otherwise though!

It is such a nice cleanser, but yeah, I’m not loving the coconut scent. Thankfully it isn’t super strong or long lasting!
I need to try some of the Pacifica fragrances – several people have recommended them!

Good review, always appreciate honesty! I don’t mind coconut as a scent, so I’ll have to check the Pacifica brand out.

If it didn’t smell like coconut, I would love it so much. Despite not loving the scent, I have to say that it is a great cleanser.

Great review. I have had nothing but positive experiences with Pacifica products and I’m a huge fan of the smell of coconut, so I think I’ll have to give this a try.
