Hello, hello!
Today I have a review of the Strength & Anti-Breakage Agave Shampoo and Conditioner from Maui Moisture. I’ve been using this for about 7 or 8 weeks now.
I’ve previously tested out the Nourish & Moisture + Coconut Milk and the Heal & Hydrate + Shea Butter sets (here and here). All info in italics is taken from the Maui Moisture website.
This velvety shampoo [and creamy conditioner] is infused with rich agave, hibiscus and pineapple extract. Itโs gentle enough for the most fragile strands while helping to increase elasticity and helps strands resist breakage. Your hair is left tangle free with a healthy shine.
To be honest, the main reason why I purchased this set was because I really liked the scent – I love the combination of the agave, hibiscus and pineapple – it is mildly scented and not at all overpowering or sickly!
Although I do colour my hair, it is not particularly damaged, but it is prone to dryness at the ends, tangles and frizz. I like my shampoo and conditioner to make my hair feel clean, soft / hydrated, and help keep it shiny. This shampoo and conditioner set is working well to tame my thick, wavy hair –ย my hair looks and feels super healthy right now, and my ends aren’t as dry as usual.
Have you tried any of the shampoos / conditioners from Maui Moisture? Which one is your fave? If not, what is your current favourite shampoo / conditioner?
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!
Disclosure: I purchased this!
Where did you purchased them?

I got them at my local Jean Coutu Pharmacy (I’m in Quebec).

Agave is great moisturiser for the hair and gives a lustrous shine. Great combination… all three ingredients are great for the nourishment of the hair. ๐๐

I spotted Maui Moisture products at my local Boots. I’d like to try this combo, but also the shea butter combo which you liked as well. I’ve picked up a lot of hair stuff recently, but I’m really curious about this brand – so I guess I’ll be reporting back on Maui Moisture soon! ๐

I loved both the Shea and Agave ones – they both worked well for my hair type.
I look forward to reading how they worked for your hair! ๐

Another brand I want to try because of your reviews lol. I thought they’d be expensive but when I saw their price at Ulta I almost wanted to grab a few ๐

Not expensive, and I usually manage to get them on sale!

I’m trying to imagine the combination of agave, hibiscus and pineapple – I’d be tempted to eat this?

Haha, it smells good, but I wouldnโt say good enough to eat!

Oohh never tried this. Sounds like it softened and hydrated your hair. My hair type is similar to yours so I’d be curious how it would work for me. I wonder if the sell it at Shoppers or Rexall.

They should have it at Shoppers, as itโs carried at Pharmaprix here (same company).
I think you would like this one a lot!
