Derma E Purifying Daily Detox Scrub

Hello, hello!

Today I’m reviewing the Purifying Daily Detox Scrub from Derma E, a brand that I’ve been wanting to try for ages. This sample sized tube came in my February Petit Vour subscription box. [info in italics taken from Petit Vour website]

Petit Vour February 2018

Gentle enough for daily use, this detox scrub lifts away micro-pollutants and impurities while promoting oxygenation for a fresh, healthy radiance. Doctor developed and clinically tested, this revitalizing formula contains some of the most powerful minerals and natural toxin fighters from the earth and from the sea.

Kimarine® Wakame is a potassium-rich, magnesium-rich seaweed that is clinically proven to protect skin against environmental pollutants (exhaust fumes, cigarette smoke, heavy metals). Bladderwrack is an antioxidant-rich, mineral-rich seaweed known for its water-binding properties, supporting healthy skin hydration and nourishment. Activated Charcoal, known for absorbing 100 to 200 times its weight in impurities, helps remove toxins from the skin’s surface. Apricot Seed Powder gently exfoliates away micro-pollutants, and Green Tea delivers potent antioxidant defense.

Ideal for oily and active skin types and even safe for reactive skin (minimal ingredients and allergy-tested), this formula boosts skin purity for a refreshed, glowing complexion.

Because I have sensitive skin, that is easily irritated, I only use facial scrubs about once or twice a week. I really like this facial scrub as it is fairly gentle and doesn’t make my skin feel dry or irritated, while at the same time, it makes my skin feel like it has been super deep cleansed.

  1. This sounds good – glad it was gentle enough for your skin! Haven’t tried much from Derma E (ages ago tried tea tree oil, didn’t like it but it was more about not liking tea tree oil at all) but lately I’ve heard great things about the brand.

  3. I’ve only been trying out one of Derma E’s facial oils (the cranberry rosehip one) and love it! I really want to try out more from them and this one looks and sounds pretty amazing so I’ll need to add it to my list of things ❤

  4. I love all the products I’ve tried from this brand so far. I think their charcoal products (this one and their mask) were my favorite of all. They really do give that deep cleanse, and they make your skin feel so smooth!! 😀
