Hello, hello!
Today I’m reviewing the Purifying Daily Detox Scrub from Derma E, a brand that I’ve been wanting to try for ages. This sample sized tube came in my February Petit Vour subscription box. [info in italics taken from Petit Vour website]
Gentle enough for daily use, this detox scrub lifts away micro-pollutants and impurities while promoting oxygenation for a fresh, healthy radiance. Doctor developed and clinically tested, this revitalizing formula contains some of the most powerful minerals and natural toxin fighters from the earth and from the sea.
Kimarine® Wakame is a potassium-rich, magnesium-rich seaweed that is clinically proven to protect skin against environmental pollutants (exhaust fumes, cigarette smoke, heavy metals). Bladderwrack is an antioxidant-rich, mineral-rich seaweed known for its water-binding properties, supporting healthy skin hydration and nourishment. Activated Charcoal, known for absorbing 100 to 200 times its weight in impurities, helps remove toxins from the skin’s surface. Apricot Seed Powder gently exfoliates away micro-pollutants, and Green Tea delivers potent antioxidant defense.
Ideal for oily and active skin types and even safe for reactive skin (minimal ingredients and allergy-tested), this formula boosts skin purity for a refreshed, glowing complexion.
Because I have sensitive skin, that is easily irritated, I only use facial scrubs about once or twice a week. I really like this facial scrub as it is fairly gentle and doesn’t make my skin feel dry or irritated, while at the same time, it makes my skin feel like it has been super deep cleansed.
100% Cruelty-Free and Vegan | Organic Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Gel Extract*, Cetyl Alcohol (Plant Derived), Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Seed Powder, Glycerin (Vegetable Derived), Coco-Caprylate (Coconut Derived), Charcoal Powder, Fucus Vesiculosus (Bladderwrack) Extract, Undaria Pinnatifida (Wakame, Kimarine®) Extract, Organic Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract*, Menthol, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate (Vegetable Derived), Xanthan Gum, Diheptyl Succinate, Capryloyl Glycerin/Sebacic Acid Copolymer, Menthyl Lactate, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Coco-Glucoside (Coconut Derived), Glyceryl Oleate (Plant Derived), Iron Oxides, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.
I’m so happy that I finally got to try something from Derma E! I’m fairly certain that it won’t be the last time you will see a Derma E product tested out and reviewed here.
Have you tried anything from Derma E? What do you recommend?
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day ❤
Disclosure: This came in my monthly Petit Vour subscription box that I pay for.
Gotta try this one!

Some are just too harsh for me, but this one worked!

This sounds good – glad it was gentle enough for your skin! Haven’t tried much from Derma E (ages ago tried tea tree oil, didn’t like it but it was more about not liking tea tree oil at all) but lately I’ve heard great things about the brand.

I love all the products I’ve tried from this brand so far. I think their charcoal products (this one and their mask) were my favorite of all. They really do give that deep cleanse, and they make your skin feel so smooth!! 😀

This sounds like a good scrub – I like gentle scrubs too as I have sensitive skin; I use a similar one from Freeman (Charcoal & Black Sugar) that I love and is super cheap. Great review!
