Elate Cosmetics Creme Revealer Review

Hello, hello!

Today I have a review of the Creme Revealer from Elate Cosmetics that came in my February Petit Vour box. Elate Cosmetics is a cruelty free Canadian company! [info in italics taken from Petit Vour]

Petit Vour February 2018

This tiny pot of camouflage superpower will give you a boost when you need it most. Elate Creme Revealer is the skin corrector that reveals a more confident you. The smooth creme application makes this your essential tool for concealing under-eye circles, blemishes, scars and anything else you wish to hide. Of course, your true beauty never needs correcting.

The concealer is only available in three shades *sigh*

  • Porcelain is a cool-toned concealer for light skin.
  • Buff is a neutral-toned concealer for light, medium and deep skin.
  • Fawn is a yellow-toned concealer for light, medium and deep skin, and is designed to cover purplish, under-eye circles.

I received the shade Porcelain, which is a perfect shade for my winter pale skin.

I think that this is a great concealer for normal to dry skin, especially when you take a close look at all of the hydrating oils such as jojoba, castor, carrot, sea buckthorn, evening primrose and borage. I don’t have oily or acne prone skin, so I cannot comment on how this would work for those skin types.

I’ve applied this cream concealer with fingers, brushes and sponges and it works well with all three, it just depends on your preference. It works great for concealing redness on my skin, and does a decent job at concealing the undereye area, but it does need to be set with a powder to prevent creasing. If my dark circles are bad, I’ll combine this concealer with my Becca Brightening Undereye Corrector for maximum concealing power!

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!

Disclosure: This came in my Petit Vour subscription that I pay for.
