I’ve previously reviewed the Attitude Super Leaves Nourishing & Strengthening Shampoo & Conditioner (here) and really liked it. So I was curious to try the Color Protection formulation to see how it fared with my colour-treated, thick, frizz-prone, wavy hair.
First off, the shampoo lathers really well despite being sulfate-free. My hair feels super clean without feeling stripped. Both the shampoo and conditioner have a mild berry scent that I like. The conditioner leaves my hair soft and manageable, and not weighed down. My hair colour has not been fading as quickly as usual since I started using this set. It is also not as dry at the ends as it normally would be even though I haven’t had my hair cut / trimmed since December!

a brash attitude 
I really like the sound of these, especially being more natural yet still able to thoroughly clean hair & reduce fade. The berry scent would be nice, too. xx

Interesting. I currently use the Ion sulfate-free shampoo & conditioner for color treated hair. Just changed my color last weekend to a very dark brown-red (almost looks black). I haven’t had hair this dark since 2013 I think.

Oh that sounds lovely! I tend to alternate between various brown and red shades – my natural colour is very dark brown that gets both golden and red toned highlights in the sun (thanks to my father being a redhead, and my mother being a medium to dark brunette).

They’re great and are fairly budget friendly – always under $10 CAD – I think I got both on sale for $6.99 each.
