Hello, hello!
Today I’m reviewing the Cyrena Perfume Oil from Vert Mont Perfumery that came in my June Petit Vour box. [info in italics taken from the card that came with the perfume oil]
CYRENA. Mischievous Mermaid, Sovereign Princess, or Queen? Embrace your inner riches & shine! Gardenia & Magnolia Grandiflora open to a Tonka glazed green Cacao & Pink Peppercorn heart, finishing with a leathery Labdanum Amber.
This is such a cool looking perfume oil – it looks almost like a lava lamp due to the cacao absolute. You have to shake the perfume up before each use!
Perfume oils don’t normally last very long on my skin – but this one really lasts!
I find it to be a very complex scent, and very difficult to describe how it smells to my nose. It is floral without being flowery, the cacao and pink peppercorn warm it up, and the amber makes it earthy, yet mildly powdery. Hopefully that makes sense!
On the Petit Vour website it is listed at $35 USD for 10ml.
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!
My next blog post will be on Wednesday, July 18th – I’m taking a small break, but I’ll still be reading and commenting during my break.
Disclosure: This came in my Petit Vour subscription that I pay for.
I like the sound of an oil for longevity, these scent notes sound right up my street! x

This sounds beautiful! Thanks for sharing the information. If you’d like to know about another Vermont perfumer, I blogged here about St. Clair Scents, which launched its first three fragrances earlier this year and is getting a lot of love in the perfume blogging community: https://scentsandsensibilities.co/2018/06/15/fragrance-friday-st-clair-scents-gardeners-glove/
