Hello, hello!
Today I have a review of the Moroccan Rose Volume Loving Shampoo & Conditioner from LaCoupe. I purchased the duo a few weeks ago, and have been testing them out since then. [info in italics taken from the packaging]
A lightweight silicone-free shampoo [and daily conditioner] infused with coconut water and aloe leaf juice, finely crafted with a natural blend of Moroccan Rose and volume boosting biotin and collagen to help promote fullness and body for fine and thinning hair.
Free of: Silicones, Parabens, Sulfates, and Color Safe. And it states on the label that it is not tested on animals. *Please note that I could not find LaCoupe on any of the cruelty free lists that I check so I am not sure of them being 100% cruelty free – if I find out for sure, I will update*
I didn’t notice when I bought the duo that it was targeted for fine and thinning hair – as you probably know, my hair is fast growing, thick and wavy – so I was expecting a crazy amount of volume because of this.
The shampoo lathers really well for a sulfate free shampoo, and makes my hair feel really clean – no dulling residue. The conditioner is a little too light for my hair, but if I use a lot, it gets the job done! The conditioner would be awesome for fine hair, as it won’t weight your hair down.
The Moroccan Rose scent is heavenly – and really, the scent was the main reason why I wanted to try the shampoo and conditioner. And it was on sale!
Volume-wise, I did not notice much difference – which for me isn’t a bad thing as I have quite a lot of body in my hair anyways. But it did make my hair quite shiny and healthy looking / feeling. I like this shampoo & conditioner duo – I wish that they made a deep conditioning hair mask.
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!
Disclosure: I purchased this!
So sad that LaCoupe is nowhere to be found here anymore. I love their hair care and they smell so good too! I would have snapped these up if the brand was still around.

Don’t know why but about 3 years ago the major stores (Shoppers, Rexall, Superstores, Walmart) stopped carrying LaCoup around me. I’ve kept and eye out for it but haven’t spotted it anywhere!

A brand needs to come out with a shampoo/conditioner for people with thick hair that want it to look sleeker and finer, I’m like you and have thick hair. These sound really nice and even better they didn’t give you added volume 😛

Can you imagine it it had super volumized my hair? 🤣😂

*gasp* this sounds perfect!!!!! For me I mean lol. I’m really trying to stop using shampoo and conditioner without sulfates and parabens and seeing if it makes a difference in my hair. I’ve tried volumizing dúos but still nothing that will give me the kind of volume I’m looking for.

I think it will make a difference – my hair is so much nicer since I switched to sulfate / silicone / paraben free shampoos and conditioners.
