Hello, hello!
If you follow me on InstaGram, you will have seen me unboxing my package from Buck Naked Soap Company. All this week I’ll be reviewing the items that I received (thank you Rina!), starting off with their Himalayan Salt Soap. But first, a little bit of info on this cruelty-free Canadian company [info in italics taken from the Buck Naked Soap Company website]
Buck Naked was born out of necessity. When baby Elias, son of Buck Naked founders Rina and John, developed skin irritations from traditional baby products, they soon realized they needed a truly natural alternative. As necessity is the mother of all invention, the Chamomile & Calendula Soap was invented to help soothe the little guy’s skin. With this creation, Rina discovered her passion of formulating skin care products using the purest of ingredients.
Since inception, we’ve introduced a full line of all-natural, vegan, handcrafted skin care products. We’re committed to being chemical-free, using only pure, natural ingredients. On this, we are unwavering: if you can’t (or shouldn’t) eat it, we won’t use it.
As someone with sensitive skin, this really speaks to me.
Let’s take a look at the Himalayan Salt Soap:
Softening | Invigorating | Purifying
Himalayan salt helps maintain skin’s natural oil balance, cleaning and drawing out impurities while warm water opens your pores to absorb the benefits. This amazing ingredient is also known to improve moisture, elasticity and softness, and may even reduce the appearance of fine lines and cellulite.
Not only does the soap look beautiful, it lathers beautifully and has a subtle scent. It is super gentle, and non-drying. I love that it has invigorating and purifying properties. And it exfoliates without irritating my sensitive skin.
I really like this one, and have added several of the various soaps to my wishlist!
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!
Disclosure: PR sample. However my opinion and love of bath + body products is entirely my own!
