Helo, hello!
Today I have all of the things that I’ve managed to finish up for the month of October. I’m pretty happy with the progress that I’ve made in clearing out my stash this month. There are a few that weren’t quite finished, so they’ll likely be in next month’s empties.
Let’s take a look. I’ll include links to any previously reviewed products, and whether or not I’ve re-purchased (or if I plan to re-purchase in the future).
Haircare:
DevaCurl Melt Into Moisture Matcha Butter Conditioning Mask – I absolutely loved this hair mask. I’m currently using up other hair masks, but this one is definitely on my wish list. Review is here.
Hask Argan Dry Shampoo – This was a good dry shampoo, it made my hair feel clean without that gross feeling that some dry shampoos have. I do prefer the Chia Seed Volumizing Dry Shampoo, so I purchased that one instead. Reviews are here and here.
Evolvh UltraShine Shampoo + Conditioner – I really liked this shampoo and conditioner sample set, but the full sizes are a little on the spendy side (and I have others in my stash to use up), so for now they are a wishlist item. Review is here.
Makeup:
The Ordinary Serum Foundation (shade 1.2P) – This was a nice foundation, it worked well for my skin and coverage preferences. I have another one in my stash (shade 1.1N), as well as two other foundations to use up so I won’t be repurchasing. Review is here.
Wet N Wild Photofocus Pressed Powder – I finally finished this pressed powder! I really like this one a lot, but have two other powders to use up, but would purchase again in the future. Review is here.
Skincare:
Derma E Firming DMAE Moisturizer – This made my skin feel great, but I really didn’t like the scent – very weirdly medicinal. I won’t repurchase this one, but wouldn’t mind trying some of the others from this line. Review is here.
The Ordinary 100% Plant Based Squalane – I love facial oils. And I have quite a collection of awesome ones, so I definitely won’t need to re-purchase. Review is here.
The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution – My skin really liked this toner at first, but after awhile it began to sting when I used it. Because of this, I’m reluctant to re-purchase. Review is here.
Odacité Black Mint Cleanser – I really liked this cleanser a lot, it was so fresh feeling! I wouldn’t mind buying a full size version once I finish up a few cleansers in my stash – so onto the wishlist it goes. Review is here.
Niu Body Piña Colada Sugar Lip Polish – This was tough for me to finish even though it is a really amazing lip scrub because of my aversion to coconut scents. If you love coconut scents, then this one is for you! Review is here. I’m currently using a minty one from Sudsatorium that is all kinds of awesome!
Did you finish up a lot this month?
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!
Disclosure: All products purchased by me!

Powder is the toughest to get through so that’s quite a good empty! Good luck with the other two!

I’ve been curious about DevaCurl – it’s a pricey brand but if it works, then I guess it’s worth it.
Still haven’t reached for my bottle of The Ordinary Serum Foundation… I have the wrong shade and it just doesn’t wear well on me. I might just declutter it.
Congrats on finally finishing the pressed powder! 🙂 I’m just about to finish one too, it feels so satisfying.

I’ve only tried the hair mask – and it is amazing.
If the Serum foundation doesn’t wear well I’d declutter it for sure. I have another one to use up and it is too neutral / yellow in tone so I’ve been mixing in my Nyx to cool it down tone wise in order to try to finish.

You did so so so so goodddd!!!!! Ah man those face powders are a pain to use up! I’m also trying to use up a powder foundation and it feels bottomless lol.
I don’t think I’ve tried the chia seed dry shampoo but now that you’ve mentioned it I think I’ll try that one next because I liked this one too.
I still have to look into the ordinary, I’m not sure if they have it Sephora I was told they did but I completely forgot to check when I went in last month lol

Powder foundations take so long to finish! And I have two more to use up, haha – It will probably take me a year!
