Hello, hello!
Today I have a review of another product from Quebec based company Kariderm – if you remember, I reviewed (and loved) their Restorative Hair Mask. When PozPub reached out and asked me if I wanted to try out the Moisturizing Face Cream, I immediately said yes! Thank you PozPub and Kariderm! [info in italics taken from the Kariderm website]
A little bit of background on Kariderm:
Founded in 1998, Flash Beauté Inc. conceives, manufactures and distributes the KARIDERM products, maintaining its leader position in its domain: natural personal care products made with shea butter.
In order to reach this target, we have established a tight partnership with a women cooperative of shea butter producers in Burkina Faso, the Songtaaba Association or ASY.
In this context, our personal commitment during several trips on the field enabled us to define several cooperation and assistance projects targeting not only the quality and market image of shea butter, but mostly the working conditions of women, their incomes and self-development perspectives.
How beautiful is that? A company that gives back!
Now onto the Moisturizing Protective Cream:
The KARIDERM Moisturizing Protective Cream with shea butter, replenishes moisture to deeply condition the skin for the entire day. Easily absorbed thanks to its light texture, it rapidly softens, nourishes and protects the skin, allowing a natural and enhanced radiance.
My skin LOVES shea butter. This facial cream is super hydrating but very light. It can be used as either a day or a night cream (or both). It is the type of face cream that works for all skin types (unless you have an allergy or sensitivity to one of the ingredients):
INGREDIENTS: Aqua, Isopropyl Palmitate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Glycerin, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Sorbitan Stearate, Cera Alba, Xanthan Gum, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Sodium Phytate, Aniba Rosaeodora (Rosewood) Oil, Citrus Nobilis (Mandarin) Peel Oil, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Retinol
The cream has an almost watery texture and absorbs into the skin very quickly. It works well with facial oils and serums. As an added plus, the Moisturizing Protective Cream also plays nicely with makeup (whether full foundation, concealer, powder, or just with concealer and powder).
I’ll be taking a short break next week for the holidays, but I’ll be back on the 26th with a new review.
Thanks for reading.
Disclosure: PR sample, thanks Kariderm / PozPub, however, my opinion is based on my experience of using this product.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Jodi.
I hope you and your loved ones have a wonderful Christmas.

It is really great, especially for cold weather.
I’m not trying everything all at once – my skin is sensitive, so I can’t try too many things at once. I just tend to have my entire month planned in advance.
