Hello, hello!
Today I have a review of the True Moringa Rejuvenating Body Polish that came in my December Petit Vour box [info in italics taken from the Petit Vour website].
Wake up your shower routine and revive dry and dull skin with a blissful aromatic blend of Nicaraguan coffee beans, organic sugar, cold-pressed moringa and a sweet and spicy essential oil blend.
Fresh Nicaraguan coffee beans, rich in caffeine, firm and tighten skin and gently exfoliate to invite the healthy production of new skin cells.
Moringa is rich in zeatin, known for stimulating cell division, growth, and delaying aging of cells. Moringa is packed with crucial fatty acids and antioxidants that the fight free radicals that cause premature aging.
I love body scrubs, so I was pretty happy to see one in my December box. This is a coffee and sugar based scrub, but isn’t as messy as some coffee scrubs tend to be. The scent is interesting – you can smell the coffee of course, but it also smells of Rosemary and Peppermint – so very bright and uplifting – perfect for cold, dark mornings!
Let’s take a look at the ingredients:
100% Cruelty-Free and Vegan | Coffea Arabica (Vega Farmer Roasted Coffee), Sucrose (Sugar), Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Essential Oil, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Essential Oil.
Even though I tend to avoid products with tea tree oil as it often causes a reaction on my sensitive skin, the concentration in this scrub must be fairly low as it didn’t trigger me at all, thankfully.
I don’t think that the sample size is big enough to gain benefits of firming and tightening of the skin, but it does exfoliate really well and doesn’t leave a gritty or greasy feeling when rinsed off.
Do you like coffee based body scrubs? I mostly prefer sugar or salt based body scrubs.
Thanks for reading,
Disclosure: This came in my Petit Vour subscription that I pay for.

Love coffee scrubs! Especially in the morning as a wake me up scrub in the shower.

I don’t know if I’ve shared this but the moringa plant is something that grows wild here in Malaysia. Some people grow it in their compounds too. We collect the leaves and fruits and stew them with lenthils. Very staple dish among Malaysian Indians. My mom even air dries the leaves, grinds them up and takes them like supplements!

Like matcha but more bitter… If it is made to a stew then of course it’s delicious…
