I have something a little different than my usual cruelty free beauty and skincare reviews – today I’d like to talk about Montreal company Jeane & Jax [info in italics taken from the Jeane & Jax website, and the photo below is also from the website]

I stumbled across them on InstaGram, and have been eyeing several of their bags for months before finally taking the plunge and ordering myself the Luna Tassel Crossbody bag as a replacement for my old Matt & Nat Crossbody bag. I purchased it as a Christmas present for myself during their Black Friday sale.

The vegan leather is very soft and looks and feels luxurious. The construction is solid and the hardware (zippers, magnetic snaps, and tassel) is sturdy. I think that the removable tassel is really cute and gives it an extra special touch. I prefer crossbody bags for daily use, and I like that the strap is adjustable. I just love it!

I’m very happy with my bag, and am looking forward to buying myself another one soon!
