This post was supposed to go up on Friday, but our internet was knocked out since early Friday morning, and is hopefully now back to stay!

My June Petit Vour box finally arrived on Thursday (June 27th)! I often show my Petit Vour box on my InstaGram, but here on the blog you will get the unboxing AND first impressions. Full reviews to follow once I’ve had a chance to test things out. [all info in italics is taken from the Petit Vour website]

Petit Vour is a cruelty-free and vegan monthly subscription box with four (occasionally five) products. The subscription is $18 USD a month in the US, $23 USD for Canada, and $25 USD for the rest of the world. With the exchange rate @1.3791  my box cost me $31.72 CAD this month.

Let’s take a closer look at what was in this month’s Petit Vour box:

 

FiOR Minerals Organic Eyeliner (full size $18 USD)

This 100% natural vegan eyeliner is bursting with certified organic antioxidants and soothing ingredients, gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin.

Create defined lines or a smudged out smoky look in no time flat. This creamy moisturizing nutrient-filled formula was designed not to tug or pull on the eye. FREE of harsh chemicals, dyes, parabens, GMO’s and toxic ingredients–No more Crying Eyes, only Smiling Eyes.

This eyeliner is available in six different shades, I received the shade Mystic (slate grey, matte finish). I have quite a stash of black eyeliners, and this one looks black to me. I wish that I had gotten Night Moves (royal blue), but if it is a nice liner, then I’ll definitely use it!

Pacifica Cherry Matte Mattifying Primer (full size 1oz, $13 USD)

Don’t have a makeup meltdown. This lightweight mattifying primer is a support system for your skin, delivering a blurred focus finish with oil control benefits. So you can keep it together all day (or at least look like you are).

Hopefully this won’t be drying for my normal to slightly dry skin. I do like the sound of a blurred focus finish, so we shall see how it works for me. I’ll probably use it with facial sunscreens since they sometimes make me a little greasy.

Goldfaden MD Detox Hydrating Gel (sample size $10 USD, full size 1.7oz / 50ml $68 USD)

A BHA Skin Balancing Moisturizer.  Dr. Goldfaden’s daily hydrating gel helps clear skin, and minimize the appearance of future breakouts, revealing a clear and radiant looking complexion.

This treatment moisturizer provides anti-oxidant and anti-pollution nourishment with a potent combination of beta hydroxy acids, mallow extract and the Detox ComplexTM. This sounds wonderful. I’ve really liked everything that I’ve tried thus far from this brand, so I am excited to try this!
