My August Petit Vour box finally arrived on  August 28th. I often show my Petit Vour box on my InstaGram, but here on the blog you will get the unboxing AND first impressions. Full reviews to follow once I’ve had a chance to test things out. [info in italics is taken from the Petit Vour website]

Petit Vour is a cruelty-free and vegan monthly subscription box with four (occasionally five) products. The subscription is $18 USD a month in the US, $23 USD for Canada, and $25 USD for the rest of the world. With the exchange rate @1.3595  my box cost me $31.27 CAD this month.

Let’s take a closer look at what was in this month’s Petit Vour box:

Harvest Natural Beauty Lengthening Organic Mascara (.25 oz, $18 USD)

Thicken and lengthen each lash with this nontoxic, vegan, 100% natural and organic mascara. Infused with conditioning organics and Vitamin E, this unique formula is smudge proof and water resistant. Free from artificial colors, preservatives and fragrances making it ideal for sensitive eyes.

Hopefully this mascara will actually work for my sensitive eyes that easily water. I will have to test it out over the next couple of days!

Honua Hawaiian Skincare Pa’akai Cleansing Cream (sample size 1 oz – $12 USD, travel size 2 oz – $24 USD, full size 4 oz – $42 USD)

Cleansing Hawaiian salt and antioxidant rich hibiscus combine to create a gentle daily cleanser that will leave your skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated. Seaweed extract works to strengthen and renew the skin, while accelerating the natural skin repair process. The Pa’akai Cleansing Cream is great for all skin types.

This cleanser sounds perfect for me, I can’t wait to test this one out!

Derma E Essential Radiance Toner (sample size 1oz – $2.50 USD, full size 6 oz – $15 USD)

This alcohol-free, exfoliating, beauty toner helps to tone, tighten and brighten for a soft, smooth and luminous appearance. Enriched with: Glycolic Acid: helps to reveal brighter, fresher skin. Rooibos: helps to detox encouraging healthy skin. Rosehip Extract: helps to brighten and rejuvenate skin.

Oooh, I love toners, and haven’t tried this one yet, but it sounds like it will be fab!

Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Serum (sample size 1oz – $15 USD, full size 60 ml $30 USD)

Reduce breakouts, unclog pores, and even skin tone with this powerful serum packed with willow bark, salicylic acid and organic fruit acids; while CoQ10, Vitamin C and organic aloe renew the skin for a healthy, clear complexion. Clears while hydrates.

I will probably only use this as a spot treatment for occasional breakouts, as my skin is not prone to major breakouts.

Petite Histoire Envie Desoir Perfume Oil (sample vial .03 oz / 1 ml – $5 USD, full size .37 oz / 11 ml – $65 USD)

Violet glistens while gentle rose dances in soft rain. Powdery orris is the quiet, cool whisper of Paris.

Top: Bergamot, Angelica Seed
Middle: Rose, Orris, Violet
Base: Sandalwood, Ambrette

This perfume oil sounds like something I will love – I hope that it works with my body chemistry!

This month’s box is worth $52.50 USD which works out to $71.37 CAD! I really think this month’s box looks awesome and I can’t wait to test everything out and let you know what I think of it all. Reviews to follow as soon as I try everything out.
