Hello, hello! My September Petit Vour box finally arrived on  September 24th. I often show my Petit Vour box on my InstaGram, but here on the blog you will get the unboxing AND first impressions. Petit Vour is a cruelty-free and vegan monthly subscription box with four (occasionally five) products. The subscription is $18 USD a month in the US, $23 USD for Canada, and $25 USD for the rest of the world. With the exchange rate @1.3682  my box cost me $31.47 CAD this month.

Let’s take a closer look at what was in this month’s Petit Vour box:

Jane Iredale LipDrink Lip Balm SPF 15 (0.14 oz / 4 g – $17 USD)

Quench your lips with hydrating protection that will leave lips feeling moisturized, protected and refreshingly scented. Mouthwatering moisture in a lip-saving, lemon flavor balm. Broad spectrum SPF 15 sunscreen. A variety of waxes and oils combine to provide an antioxidant-rich protective shield.

As a lip balm addict, I am always happy to see a lip balm, especially one with SPF added!

The Seaweed Bath Co Awaken Firming Detox Body Cream (sample size 1.5 oz – $4 USD, full size 6 oz – $15 USD)

The Firming Detox Cream deeply moisturizes and detoxifies for smoother, firmer-looking skin. Organic, sustainably-harvested bladderwrack seaweed with 65+ vitamins and minerals naturally detoxifies and promotes skin elasticity. Antioxidant-rich green coffee bean extract helps to detoxify and protect the skin against damaging free radicals. Detoxifying green tea extract, rich in potent antioxidants, protects and moisturizes. Hyaluronic acid locks in moisture while strengthening the skin’s natural barrier. Best to minimize the appearance of cellulite and improve skin appearance. 

This sounds great! I can’t wait to try it out! Seaweed is such a great skin / body care ingredient.

Moon Rivers Naturals Peppermint Lava Salt Hand + Body Soap (sample size $5 USD, full size 8 oz – $18)

For those deathly afraid of a used bar of soap, Moon Rivers Naturals uses the classic oil combination in their bar soaps liquified. They are enhanced with black lava salt and a pinch of activated charcoal for a light detox, and peppermint essential oil to calm your soul and leave your skin with a nice tingle. This soap is great for face and hands too!  

This sounds nice! I love peppermint in body wash / soap – it is so energizing in the mornings.

Lauren B. Beauty Nail Growth Serum (full size 0.08 oz – $75 USD)

Salvation for fragile, brittle nails that refuse to grow. This sheer blend of amino acids, antioxidants, Vitamins E and C, peptides and biotin sinks in instantly to boost natural nail growth and strength. 

Wow, a full size nail growth serum! My nails could use some strengthening, so this will be well used.

The September box is worth $101 USD and with the exchange rate that I paid at $1.3682, that works out to be $138.19 CAD – I think that this is the highest valued box since I first subscribed around 2 years ago!
