Today I have a little review of another goody from the package that I won from Rossy’s recent giveaway (Ayr Galaxy) – the Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Stockholm. [info in italics taken from the Nyx Canada website]

The shade Stockholm is described as a mid-tone beige pink (pink toned nude shade). I feel that it is slightly too light, and pulls quite pink on my lips since I’m so pale, but if I combine it with a slightly darker nude lip crayon from my stash it makes the perfect shade for me. I do love the formula, it is super creamy and doesn’t dry my lips out.

Congrats on winning this one! I quite like the shade and the texture seems appealing. Does it have a stickyness to it, or a nasty smell? The last gloss I used (so not a cream but similar) was way too sticky and it had a really off-putting scent and taste to it, which kind of put me off liquid lips for a while! 😂

It’s not sticky at all – I hate sticky lip gloss! It has a very faint sweet scent which I don’t mind.

I tried a matte lip cream and didn’t get on with it, it seemed to come off on everything so I didn’t try any more. This colour is kind of making me want to give them another go though!

I use a slightly darker nude /less pink toned pencil and it works perfectly!
