The Inkey List Caffeine Review

Hello, hello!

Today I am reviewing the Caffeine Eye Serum from The Inkey List. I’ve been wanting to try this eye serum for SO LONG, and it seems to be always out of stock (both online and in stores). Well, a few weeks ago I popped in to Pharmaprix (aka Shopper’s Drug Mart), I spotted it tucked away on a bottom shelf. And it was on sale! [info in italics taken from the Shopper’s website]

The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Serum

An under-eye serum which is an anti-inflammatory antioxidant derived from coffee. It helps to reduce puffiness, dark circles and prevent skin damage from free radicals which can make dark circles more pronounced. As caffeine is a diuretic it can help to relieve water retention which can be a major cause of puffiness under the eyes. Caffeine serum acts to: Target dark circles Reduce the appearance of dark circles Reduce puffiness Reduce the appearance of fine lines.

I am prone to puffiness and dark circles and have some fine lines – due to allergies,  occasional insomnia and age. My skin is sensitive, and so are my eyes, so a lot of eye serums and creams cause irritation. Thankfully this one does not.

It really does help reduce under-eye puffiness, and I think it does well to help minimize dark circles and fine lines. I’m so happy that I was able to finally try this one out!

  1. This sounds great! I know caffeine is really good for reducing puffiness. I need something for dark circles so If this does all 3 its a win-win right?

  2. Ooohh this looks interesting. I’m currently using the First Aid Beauty 5 in 1 eye cream. I like it, but once it’s done I want to try something else. I’ve tried retinol but it irritates/burns my eye area too much.

  3. Omg I’ve only tried ONE caffeine rye cream and loved it! It was years ago though which when I saw this one and its price I was like “I WANT!”
I’m so glad you liked it, I totally need something like this! I have such dark circles, especially when my insomnia hits. This is actually the worst time of the year for me when I dont get enough sleep 😭
