Hello, hello! I’m back from my annual holiday week blogging break, well rested and ready to dive back into blogging!
My December Petit Vour box finally arrived on December 27th. I often show my Petit Vour box on my InstaGram, but here on the blog you will get the unboxing AND first impressions. Full reviews to follow once I’ve had a chance to test things out. [info in italics is taken from the Petit Vour website]
Petit Vour is a cruelty-free and vegan monthly subscription box with four (occasionally five) products. The subscription is $18 USD a month in the US, $23 USD for Canada, and $25 USD for the rest of the world. With the exchange rate @1.3652 my box cost me $31.40 CAD this month.
Let’s take a closer look :
Kani Botanicals Lip + Cheek Tint (full size $28 USD)
Created with nourishing organic ingredients, this unique formula combines hydration and protection with rich mineral colors for a beautiful, natural finish on both lips and cheeks.
This lip and cheek tint is available in three colours – I received the shade Duchess – which is pink toned. I do love multi-purpose products, so hopefully the colour will work for me.
Bali Balm Natural Lip Balm (full size $26 USD)
Clean, crisp and citrusy fresh, this creamy lip balm gets its alluring aroma from the essential oils of bergamot and grapefruit. Bergamot oil is known to have both calming and uplifting effects, while the grapefruit acts as a purifying agent.
The Bali Balm is available in three different scents / flavours, I received Bergamot & Grapefruit. The packaging of this lip balm is so luxe! I am always happy to receive a lip balm to add to my collection!
5th Dimension Sub Rose Serum (sample size 7 ml, $9 USD, full size 30 ml $38 USD)
Sub Rosa is a blend of highly concentrated antioxidant and omega fatty acid oils infused with rose petals to refresh and replenish skin’s complexion. Non-comedogenic, this face oil requires just a few drops to hydrate, soften, regulate oil production, and soothe inflammation.
This sounds like an amazing serum. I’ll have to stash it for now as I have a few serums in rotation at the moment.
Highborn Défumé Anointing Oil (sample size 2 ml, $7 USD, full size 10 ml $35 USD)
This Ritual Rollerball will cleanse and clear your energetic space, focus the mind for meditation or prayer, and prepare yourself for ritual. DÉFUMÉ pays true homage to palo santo while embodying a dynamic fragrance profile. Application is beautiful (externally) anywhere on your body, this fragrance is known to transport. Boasting organic essential oils that are sustainably sourced and extracted, reiki charged crystals and high vibes – DÉFUMÉ will help deepen your self care regimen.
Sounds interesting, might be good to try before yoga.
The total value of this month’s box is $70 USD which works out to $95.56 CAD. What do you think of the December box?
Thanks for reading
Disclosure: I pay for this monthly subscription!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a great start into 2020! ♥
This box looks good. I like the sound and look of the lip balm and serum, not sure about the anointing oil and the cheek tint, but I hope you’ll like the oil and that the shade of the cheek tint works for you.

Thank you, I did have a wonderful Christmas, hope you did as well, all the best for 2020! ❤
I think that the anointing oil can be used for as a perfume or for aromatherapy purposes. I'll have to try it out over the weekend 🙂
