Today I’m reviewing the Highborn Défumé Annointing Oil that came in my December Petit Vour box. [info in italics taken from the Petit Vour website]

The first thing that went through my mind when I saw this was to ask myself if this was a perfume or an essential oil (or both). The scent is very subtle – lightly smoky and woody. I would use this before a meditative yoga practice, than to use it as a perfume as I don’t find that the scent lasts on me. I find that nearly all coconut oil based perfumes oils don’t have any longevity on me.

What an interesting product! Based on the description I would probably keep something like this at work to use whenever I want to de-stress!

I used it before yoga instead of turning on my diffuser. But using it at work sounds like a great idea!

I don’t think this one would be for me, but something completely different – the small bottle reminds me of that super concentrated aromatic mini shower gel from a few months ago.

The scent fades super fast, so I’ll use it for yoga Aromatherapy and not for perfume.
