Today I’m reviewing the Born to Glow Naturally Radiant Foundation from Nyx Cosmetics – I purchased it a few weeks ago, and have been trying it out. [info in italics taken from the Nyx Canada website]

This foundation is available in 45 shades – pretty great range for a drugstore foundation! ranging from Pale to Deep Ebony, with cool, neutral and warm undertones. I purchased the shade light porcelain – which is a great match for my pale winter skintone.
The coverage feels light on the skin, but the coverage is medium. The finish is radiant and natural looking. Just make sure that your moisturizer and / or primer has fully absorbed into the skin before applying the foundation – or else you might get some pilling – which I did once or twice when in a hurry! But when I take the time to let things absorb, this foundation plays nicely with my skincare.
I think that it is a great budget friendly foundation if you want a natural, radiant, healthy skin look!

45 shades is great for a drugstore foundation! I just realised there used to be a NYX stand in one of the department stores in my city and I went into the shop that had it yesterday and the NYX products were gone 😦 medium coverage that feels lightweight is so good!

I like foundations that feel lightweight but can give a bit more coverage, definitely not a fan of the ones that feel heavy, so this sounds like a nice product. Also does sound like a decent colour range, especially for a drugstore foundation.

I can’t wear heavy feeling foundations – makes my skin feel like it’s being smothered!

That’s exactly how I feel too, went through so many foundations when I was first into makeup before I realised what it was I didn’t like about them.

Me too, I just decluttered one that’s been in my stash for 2.5 years – way too long for a liquid product!
