Hello, hello – welcome to / welcome back to A Brash Attitude!
Sorry that I’ve not been keeping to my usual blogging schedule these days, but today I have a review of a cleansing oil that I’ve been using on and off for the past year – the aeos Cleansing Oil Dé-Maq. I received this as a part of my judging package for the 2019-2020 Cert-Clean Clean Beauty Awards and it was one of my top rated facial cleansers that I had judged. [info in italics taken from the aeos website]
Rapidly reveal a smooth, glowing, nourished complexion, as you remove every last trace of make-up and impurities with our award-winning oil-based cleanser.
A transforming blend of premium-grade organic and biodynamic oils and plant extracts, this revolutionary formula helps normal/dry skin retain optimal moisture with the pure power of plants, as well as balancing oily/combination skin types.
I tend to use oil based cleansers in the colder months, or when I’m doing a double cleanse. The aeos Cleansing Oil is so hydrating and does a great job of removing makeup – even waterproof mascara! It doesn’t leave a greasy film after rinsing. And it has a mild, pleasant herbal scent – I can mainly smell the frankincense.
Ingredients: Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Squalane (derived from olives), Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Opuntia Ficus Indica (Prickly Pear) Seed Oil, Boswellia neglecta (Frankincense) Resin Oil, Triticum Spelta (Spelt) Seed Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Oil. Natural constituents of essential oils: Citronellol, Geraniol, Linalool, Eugenol, Farnesol.
Have you tried this cleansing oil? What is your favourite?
