If you follow me on Instagram, you will have seen that a dear friend of mine brought me a few treats from Newfoundland, and one of them was The Big Land Northern Lights Iceberg Infused Soap from East Coast Glow, made in Bonavista, Newfoundland. I love hand crafted soaps, so I was thrilled when I was given this! [info in italics taken from the East Coast Glow website]

The Big Land features activated charcoal and seaweed, invigorating peppermint essential oil, exfoliating poppy seeds and luscious clay to make a creamy, bubbly bar that will get you moving in the morning! […] Our natural cold process soap is made using pure iceberg water, wild herb-infused plant oils and butters, all blended with pure clay, essential oils and wildcrafted botanicals to create a high lathering, yet nourishing bar. We use no synthetic ingredients, preservatives, parabens, fragrances or colours in our soap – just the good stuff.

This soap has a creamy lather and doesn’t make my skin feel tight or dry. And the scent of this soap is absolutely amazing – the peppermint scent is so uplifting! Especially great for a morning wake-up shower or bath.
