This is another item from my recent Sephora mini haul from my mother for my birthday. So of course I picked out a Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick! If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile, you will know that I purchased my first Amuse Bouche Lipstick last year for my birthday as well, and have added a few more in both mini and full size to my collection.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Sweet Cream

This is less of a review, and more of a swatching and comparison with the other Amuse Bouche Lipsticks in my stash. In case you aren’t familiar with Bite Beauty, info in italics is taken from the Sephora website.

What it is: 
A collection of high-impact lipsticks in dimensional shades that have been handcrafted to deliver extreme moisture, soft texture, and creamy wear. 
What it does: 
Swipe on bold, creamy lip color with Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche. Created and crafted by hand, Bite’s small batch, low-heat process preserves a balanced blend of lip-quenching nutrients, vitamins, and omega oils that are essential for achieving healthy-looking lips. Initially I was torn between Sweet Cream (muted peach) and Ginger Snap (fresh peach), and after googling several swatches of the two, I decided to pick the shade Sweet Cream, hoping that it would be a fresh coral shade on my lips.

I could not have picked a more perfect coral shade for me! It pairs beautifully with several peachy coral toned blushes in my collection.

I’ve been saving the Agave Lip Balm and Agave Sugar Scrub to use today (my actual birthday) – and wow, I need to get my hands a the full sizes ASAP!

Today I’m swatching The Perfect Bite Amuse Bouche Lipstick Set from Bite Beauty. I gifted it to myself for Christmas during the Sephora sale. I’ve previously reviewed the Amuse Bouche Lipsticks, and love the formula, so this is just more of a swatching and colour commentary. What it does:

– 4 x .05 oz/ 1.55 g Lipsticks in Honeycomb (beige nude), Sugarcane (pale pink), Rhubarb (rich plum rose), Cayenne (bright red)

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipsticks

Honeycomb – this beige toned nude shade does not work with my winter pale colouring, and I highly doubt that it will work for my slightly less pale colouring in the spring and summer. I’ll try using it with other lipsticks.

Sugarcane – this pale pink lip is lovely, more for spring / summer than for this time of year when I’m super pale.

Rhubarb – I have this rich plum rose shade in full size and absolutely love it all year round!

Cayenne – this is such a bright red! Very dramatic, I love it!
