Hello, hello!
Today I’m reviewing the new Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powder from Nyx. Here’s what it says on the Nyx website about this highlighting powder:
Light up your features with our new Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powder. Available in five glowing shades, this silky Powder blends like a dream for a fresh-faced look. Our breathtaking formulas light-catching pearls deliver a luminous finish that looks different from every angle. Brush this illuminating wonder along the highest points of the face – such as the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and Cupid’s bow.
The five shades are Twilight Tint (white with blue duochrome), Lavender Steel (lavender with pink and lavender duochrome), Crushed Bloom (dusty rose with pink and blue duochrome), Snow Rose (white with pink and lilac duochrome), and Sythetica (pink with gold duochrome).
I decided to pick the shade Lavender Steel. Trying to capture the duochrome flash is really difficult with overcast February light – the photo on the right was taken in my bedroom window (between the glass and my curtains).
This highlighting powder is very soft and fine, you can build up the highlight to go from a subtle glow, to full on disco ball depending on your preference.

I really like this highlighter. I’ve been wearing it paired with my Super Shock Cheek blush from ColourPop in the shade Sticky Sweet. I’d like to try Crushed Bloom next.
Have you tried any of the Nyx Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powders? Did you like them?
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day! ❤
Disclosure: I purchased this!
