Everyday Minerals Velvet Eyeshadow (Fresh Glowing) Review

Hello, hello!

Today I have a review of the Velvet Eyeshadow from Everyday Minerals in the shade Fresh Glowing. This came in my most recent Petit Vour box subscription. [info in italics taken from the Petit Vour website]

Petit Vour March 2018 - Everyday Minerals

A softly luminous, loose mineral eyeshadow. Rich and velvet, with a subtle shimmer, brings a stunning and weightless finish to your eyes.

Everyday Minerals Velvet Eyeshadow Fresh Glowing

It is available in the following shades:

  • Fresh, Glowing – a light tan, for adding subtle warmth.
  • Carried Away – soft popping pink.
  • Forever + A Day – a glowing soft peach shade.
  • Keep Calm – a color block of white with a slight sheen.
  • Mass Appeal – off-white appealing to the simplistic.
  • Queen of Pie – soft baby lavender.
  • Today’s #Mood – soft-as-ever pink.
  • Vibrant, Always – a captivating choice for the confident woman comfortable in a most natural tone.

Everyday Minerals Velvet Eyeshadow Fresh Glowing

Fresh Glowing is a lovely pearlescent shade, I’ve used it as an inner corner highlight as well as all over the lid – it is really beautiful.

As with all loose pigment shadows, it works best with an eye primer.  This loose pigment shadow is very smooth, and velvety when applied.

My swatch photo does not capture how beautiful the pearlescent sheen of this shadow really is. I think that I will get tons of usage from this one!

As with all Petit Vour products, this is cruelty free and vegan.

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!

This weekend I have plans to test out a few new products – some skincare, haircare, and makeup. Hopefully I will have good lighting conditions so I can photograph everything as well. Wish me luck for my skincare patch tests!

I also have to gather up and photograph my March empties – I’ve made great progress on using things up from my stash!

Disclosure: Product came in my monthly Petit Vour subscription box that I pay for.

Petit Vour Unboxing March 2018

Hello, hello!

My Petit Vour box arrived yesterday, and I am excited to show you what was inside. Full product reviews to follow once I’ve had a chance to test everything out!

Petit Vour is a cruelty-free and vegan monthly subscription box with four (occasionally five) products. The subscription is $18 USD a month in the U.S., $23 USD for Canada, and $25 for the rest of the world. The exchange rate was not great this month ($1.3239), so this month’s box cost me $30.45 CAD.

Let’s take a look inside. As always, the artwork on the information card is a lovely print.

Everyday Minerals Velvet Eyes Eyeshadow $6 USD

Petit Vour March 2018

This is a loose shadow pigment in the shade Fresh Glowing. I haven’t tried it yet, but it looks like a gorgeous shade.  I’ll be trying it out over the weekend.

Kahina Giving Beauty Argan Oil $10 USD (full size is $82 USD)

Petit Vour March 2018

I will not need to purchase any oils for quite awhile. I like that this is a multi-purpose oil. And I don’t have any Argan Oil in my stash.

Yarok Feed Your Ends Leave-In Conditioner $14 USD (full size is $27)Petit Vour March 2018

This sounds like it was made for my hair! Super happy with this one, can’t wait to test it out!

Konjac Sponge Co 100% Pure Konjac Angel Cloth ($16 USD)

Petit Vour March 2018

I’ve never tried a Konjac sponge before, it sounds interesting.

Petit Vour March 2018

This month’s box is worth $46 USD, which works out to be $60.90 CAD at the exchange rate that I paid for this month’s box!

I’m happy with this month’s selection, especially the Everyday Minerals shadow and the Yarok leave-in conditioner.

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!

Disclosure: I pay for this monthly subscription.
