Today I have a little review of the EVOLVh SmartCurl Leave-In Conditioner. EVOLVh is one of my favourite hair care brands, and I’ve tried a lot of their products – both gifted and self-purchased – so when I was asked if I wanted to the one of their Leave-In Conditioners, of course I said yes! I chose the SmartCurl Leave-In Conditioner. [info in italics taken from the EVOLVh website]

This weightless wonder helps keep dry & frizzy curls on point. Powered by fatty acids-rich shea butter and coconut oil, this light-yet-hydrating formula strengthens strands, fends off flyaways and minimizes breakage while protecting hair from heat and UV damage. Finally, a leave-in conditioner for all curls types and low & high porosity hair, that’s effective as it is easy.

This is one of those products that pretty much does it all – it hydrates, it detangles, it combats frizz, and it is a heat and UV protectant. And it does it all without making my hair feel heavy or gross.

I’ve previously tried and reviewed the SmartStart Leave-In Conditioner and the InstaVolume Elixir – both of which are great, it just depends on what your hair needs.

EVOLVh DreamGel Review

Today I’m reviewing the newly launched DreamGel Strong Hold Styler from EVOLVh that I received from their PR Team. Even though I haven’t used hair gel in a million years, I was curious to try as I’ve loved everything I’ve ever tried from the brand! I received it before the launch date to test it out. DreamGel is hair gel reinvented. This modern gel does it all: hold, volume, texture, shine, smoothing, definition and control. It leaves hair soft and touchable, and the performance lasts for 2-3 days and beyond

DreamGel contains tapioca starch which absorbs excess oils for extending time between washes and amino acids which strengthen strands to reduce splitting and breakage, making it not only a remarkable styler but a strengthening treatment too.

The DreamGel is nothing like the hair gel of the past! It doesn’t make my hair feel heavy, greasy or crunchy – even when I let it air dry. And when I use my Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer, I can use it to either do my hair smooth, or wavy. The hold is firm but not hard, and makes my hair shiny and less frizz prone. It has their signature grapefruit scent (uplifting and clean, and not over-scented or perfumey).

Today I’m reviewing the EVOLVh InstaVolume Duo set that was sent to me from their PR team. When asked if I wanted to try it out, of course I said YES because I absolutely love this brand! Let’s take a closer look at this two-step system, starting with the InstaVolume Cleansing Treatment:

The first of its kind regimen that eliminates the need for a conditioner. This game changing cleansing treatment delivers a luxurious lather that gently and thoroughly cleanses, nourishes and detoxify’s the scalp, adds moisture and detangles, while boosting volume and absorbing unwanted oils.

InstaVolume is powered by plant based natural ingredients including tapioca and flax, known for their unique ability to volumize hair while absorbing excess oils, and making it possible to go an extra day or even two without shampooing while still enjoying the voluminous results.

This is a super gentle but highly effective “shampoo” type hair cleanser. It lathers surprisingly well for a sulfate free formula. It has the signature EVOLVh grapefruit scent. Because I’m so mega overdue for a trim, I do find that I need to use a bit of the SmartStart Leave-In Conditioner on my ends.
