Hello hello!
Today I have a review of the Viper Venom Eye Fix from Nip + Fab. I purchased this a few weeks ago and after doing my usual 24 hour skin patch test, I’ve since been testing it out [info in italics taken from the Nip + Fab website].
A refreshing eye gel in a cooling roll-on applicator with wrinkle minimising LIFTONIN® + SYN®-AKE to smooth the appearance of fine lines + wrinkles around the eye area. Red Algae Extract reduces the look of dark circles for a radiance boosting effect. With Syn-ake, a revolutionary ingredient that works to smooth skin and liftonin for instant tightening.
Contains: syn®-ake: tenses + smoothes liftonin xpress: provides tightening effect [and] red algae: decreases the appearance of dark circles
I picked this one to purchase because it was an eye gel with properties of smoothing, radiance and reduction in dark circles. Some of the trade-marked ingredients sound like they were made up – like liftonin – that just makes me giggle.
I will say that the eye gel is cooling and hydrating when applied. The hydration helps to minimize fine lines. The Viper Venom Eye Fix adds radiance to the under-eye, which can help to reduce the appearance of dark circles, and it plays nicely with my Becca undereye corrector to help hide my allergy induced circles.
As well, it helps to de-puff my under-eye area – my allergies have been so much worse than usual this year! Normally my allergies are from the beginning of spring to late June / early July, but this year, they slacked off a bit in mid-to-late July, but came back in August and are still going strong. So I need all the help I can get to MINIMIZE the allergy effect.
I paid less than $20 CAD for this (I don’t recall the exact amount), but I think that is reasonable for an undereye product that doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes, and that both hydrates and helps to deal with my allergy puffiness and dark circles.
What is your favourite eye cream, serum or gel?
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day!
