Today I have a review of the Niu Body Piña Colada Sugar Lip Polish that came in my April 2018 Petit Vour subscription box. I didn’t realize until I started reading about the brand that they are Canadian! I’d never heard of Niu Body before – they are based in Toronto! [info in italics from Petit Vour website]

Niu Body Piña Colada Sugar Lip Polish

Piña Coladas = summer in a glass. Just as delicious and also reveals the softest pout possible. Sugar to exfoliate off dead cells and rich oils to moisturize, this scrub will quickly become the sweetest part of your beauty routine.

Apply generous amount of scrub to lips with finger. Exfoliate by massaging sugar crystals against skin. Wash (or lick!) off excess for a sweet treat.

I mentioned in my Petit Vour unboxing that I was hoping that this would not be overly coconut scented as I have a fairly strong aversion to the scent. Well, it definitely does have somewhat of a coconut scent, but the scent doesn’t stick round after you remove the lip polish thankfully. I have to say despite the coconut scent, this lip polish is really great! It removes dead skin, and leaves my lips so smooth and soft. I will actually continue to use it since it works so well, I’ll just try not to breathe while using it. It also faintly tastes like coconut, so I just wipe it off instead of licking it off. The Sugar Lip Polish is available in thee different scents – Piña Colada, Coconut, and Vanilla. I think I would love the Vanilla one.

Today I have my unboxing and first impressions of the April 2018 Petit Vour subscription box. Reviews to follow once I’ve had a chance to test things out!

Petit Vour is a cruelty-free and vegan monthly subscription box with four (occasionally five) products. The subscription is $18 USD a month in the U.S., $23 USD for Canada, and $25 USD for the rest of the world. The exchange rate was not great again this month ($1.3169), so this month’s box cost me $30.29 CAD.

Let’s take a look inside. As always, the artwork on the information card is a lovely print. This month’s card celebrates their 5th Birthday, and has a message from their co-founders thanking their subscribers.

I like cleansing oils, so I’m looking forward to trying this one out. I’ll be putting this in my stash for now as I don’t want to have too many cleansers open at the same time.

I’ve liked everything that I’ve tried so far from Andalou Naturals, so I have high hopes for this one. Hopefully I will be able to get more than one use out of this so I will be able to form a solid opinion on it.
