Empties March 2020

Hello, hello!

Today I have my monthly empties post for you. I didn’t finish up as much as I had hoped, but progress is progress when it comes to using up the things in my stash and not wasting them! I’ll include links to my original reviews and let you know if I would want to re-purchase either right away or eventually.

Haircare:

Empties March 2020 1

EVOLVh UltraRepair Reconstructing Masque – This was a PR sample. I loved this hair mask so much, and it is on my wishlist to buy the full size as soon as I use up another mask in my stash. Review is here.

Rahua Classic Shampoo & Conditioner – These were from my Petit Vour subscription. I liked them a lot. I’d like to try more from this brand – maybe for wavy/curly or dry hair. Review is here.

Cake Beauty The Posh Wash and The Soft Serve – These smell so good, and work well with my hair, so I’m sure I’ll eventually buy them again. Review is here.

Skincare and Makeup:

Empties March 2020 - Skincare and Makeup with Moor Spa, Sothys, Essence, Eyes of Horus

Moor Spa Supreme Cream – This was a PR sample. I mainly uses this cream at night, as I prefer something a little lighter in the day time if I’m wearing makeup. I have a few moisturizers in my stash to use up, so no need to even think about purchasing a full size. Review is here.

Sothys Hydra3Ha Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Youth Cream – Another PR sample. This one was great for day or night use. I always need a little hydration boost in the fall and winter months so this worked well for me. I have a few moisturizers in my stash to use up, so no need to even think about purchasing a replacement. Review is here.

Essence Lash Princess Waterproof Mascara – I really liked this mascara, and gave it a score of 6.75 out of 7. I  would definitely re-purchase this one. Review is here.

Eye Of Horus Brow Define – Another Petit Vour box product. This was my very first micro brow pencil. I’ve since purchased one from Essence to try out, but would love to get this one eventually. Review is here.

Essence Make Me Brow Tinted Brow Mascara – I’ve already purchased a new one, it is that good! Reviews are here and here.

So there you have it! Were you able to finish up much this month?

Rahua Classic Shampoo & Conditioner Review

Hello, hello!

Today I have a review of the Classic Shampoo & Conditioner from Rahua that came in my February Petit Vour box. [info in italics taken from the Petit Vour website]

Rahua Classic1

The Classic Shampoo:

Formulated with rare, sustainably sourced ingredients, this rich, restorative shampoo leaves hair soft, silky, and luminous, and scalp soothed. Made with omega-9 rich Rahua oil and naturally scented with the fresh, woodsy aroma of Palo Santo oil, this cult-favorite formula is concentrated and will keep scalp in balance—not too oily, and not too dry.

  • Rich in active antioxidants known to protect
    and promote hair growth
  • Proprietary blend of natural oils moisturizes,
    strengthens and adds shine

  • Heals and maintains the scalp

Rahua Classic Shampoo & Conditioner

This is a really nice shampoo, I love the woody scent. It doesn’t lather super well – but thats to be expected with a lot of sulfate free shampoos. It is hydrating but not heavy, and makes my hair feel clean and soft.

Ingredients 100% Cruelty-Free and Vegan | Water, Herbal Infusion of Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract*, Camellia Sinensis (Green tea) Leaf Extract*, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract*, and Robus Ideous (Raspberry) Leaf Extract*, Coco Betaine, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride (Sea salt), Saccharum Officinarum (Molasses) Extract, Glycine, Oenocarpus Bataua (Rahua Ungurahua) Oil, Bursera Graveolens (Palo Santo) Oil, Hydrolyzed Quinoa, Panthenol, Potassium Sorbate (plant derived), Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Citric Acid. *Organic.

The Classic Conditioner:

An enriching and luxurious complement to the Rahua® Classic Shampoo, this award-winning Conditioner delivers lustrous, rich and ultra-hydrated hair. Omega-9-rich Rahua oil acts as a detangler and exotic extracts maintain strong hair and a healthy scalp. Can also be used as a lightweight styling cream to smooth, tame frizz and flyaways, and add hold.

Rahua Classic Shampoo & Conditioner

I really like how this conditioner makes my hair feel. It really does work as a detangler, I can comb out my hair so much easier after washing and conditioning my hair.
