Saje Diffuser Blend Reviews

Hello, hello!

Today I’m reviewing a few of the Saje Diffuser Blends.  I bought myself an Aroma Gem  diffuser / nebulizer from Saje for Christmas (review is here), and I’ve since purchased and tested out a few more essential oil blends.

Saje Diffuser Blends

Glow  (Enticing Diffuser Blend)

SWEET. SPICY. DECADENT.
Indulge with the sweetly comforting and uplifting aroma of this vanilla-based blend that brings warmth and calm to the body and mind.
Ingredients:
  • vanilla 10% infusion (vanilla planifolia fruit extract)
  • peppermint (mentha piperita)
  • ginger (zingiber officinale)
  • patchouli (pogostemum cablin)
  • peru balsam (myroxylon pereirae)
  • cinnamon (cinnamomum cassia)

Saje Glow Diffuser Blend

This one really does have a spicy scent to it. I don’t smell the peppermint note at all. I like this one, but I don’t love it. I find that this blend can become overpowering really quickly unless you use the smallest amount.

Peppermint Twist (Refreshing Diffuser Blend) –

MINTY. FRESH. SWEET.
Relish in this refreshing blend that inspires feelings of walking in a winter wonderland. Peppermint and orange invigorates the senses, while benzoin adds a sweet touch of joy.
Ingredients:
  • peppermint (mentha piperita)
  • orange (citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel oil)
  • spearmint (mentha viridis (spearmint) leaf oil)
  • benzoin (styrax benzoin resin extract)

Saje Peppermint Twist Diffuser Blend

I absolutely love this one, it is so fresh smelling. I think that it might be my favourite one that I’ve tried thus far!

Liquid Sunshine (Cheerful Diffuser Blend) –

UPLIFTING. CITRUS. FRESH.
Fill your room with cheery radiance and uplifting spirits. Bright, citrus notes of grapefruit, lime and a dash of bergamot will bring the feeling of a fresh spring morning to mind.
Let happiness shine through.

Ingredients:

  • grapefruit (citrus grandis (grapefruit) peel oil)
  • bergamot (citrus aurantium bergamia (bergamot) fruit oil)
  • orange (citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel oil)
  • lime (citrus aurantifolia (lime) peel oil)
  • mandarin red (citrus nobilis (mandarin orange) peel oil)

Saje Liquid Sunshine

Liquid Sunshine was my fave until I tried Peppermint Twist. I still love this one, especially on dreary cold mornings. It is a such bright and happy scent!

Energy Boost (Revitalizing Diffuser Blend) –

INVIGORATING. UPLIFTING. FRESH.
Seeking stimulation? Look no further than the energizing power of citrus and herbal notes in this uplifting, invigorating blend designed to revitalize your mind the natural way.
Stay sharp.
Ingredients:
  • lemon (citrus limonum)
  • rosemary (rosmarinus officinalis)
  • peppermint (mentha piperita)
  • basil (ocimum basilicum)
  • bergamot (citrus bergamia)

Saje Energy Diffuser Blend

This one is a weird blend, but it somehow works. It is another bright scent, but the herbal notes make it stand out. I tend to use this one in the afternoons, rather than have a cup of coffee for a boost while I’m working.

I really do need to buy a second diffuser. I’m always moving my Aroma Gem between the bedroom and the livingroom / workspace.

What is your fave diffuser blend? I’ve only tried ones from Saje so far.

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day! ❤

Disclosure: I purchased these things.

Empties – February 2017

Hello, hello!

Today I have my monthly empties for February. I didn’t finish up as much as I thought I would this month. Sometimes a product just hangs on and takes forever to finish up that last little bit! But I have been really good at sticking to low buy where I have to use things up before buying more.

Empties - February 2017

Skincare Empties:

Empties - February 2017

Just two products. I am SO close to finishing up two facial cleansers, one moisturizer and that Sukin facial mask.

Saje Sensitive Elixir  (Serum) – This worked really well for whenever my skin was going through a super sensitive stage – especially after Photorejuvenation sessions (to be blogged about very soon, as I’m going for my last session this afternoon). Originally reviewed here. I can’t replace it until I finish up a few more serums in my stash, but it is on my wish list.

Pixi Glow Mud Mask* – I got this one in May at last year’s Toronto Generation Beauty event. I mostly only used this for spot masking, so it lasted quite awhile! Originally reviewed here. I would love to try more products from Pixi Beauty, if I manage to find a Pharmaprix (Shoppers Drug Mart in Quebec) that carries the range.

Makeup Empties:

Empties - Feb 2017

Only two of these are actual empties, the rest are trash or expired.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in Mont Blanc: I FINALLY finished it! Original review is here. This is a great foundation, but I won’t be replacing it for awhile as I have a few different ones on my wishlist that I’ve love to try.

Maison Jacynthe Concealer in Light Beige (Anti-cernes 01 Beige Legér)*: This one was nearly finished when the last bit cracked off. Original review is here. I’m not sure if I would purchase a replacement, as I prefer a wand type liquid concealer. Near the end, I found that the concealer had started to get dried out, so it didn’t apply as smoothly as it did when I first started using it.

Tarte Tarteist Lash Paint*: I got this at the Gen Beauty event last year. This one should have been put in an empties post several months ago, but it was lost in my stash. Original review is here. I just did not love this one, so I will not replace it.

Essence the Gel Nail Polish: I love Essence, but I hated this nail polish. It is watery, streaky, and chips incredibly easy. I purchased this at Gen Beauty. I never actually got around to reviewing this one.

I go through my lipstick stash every couple of months and check to see if anything has gone off – my criteria threefold: 1 has the colour gone off? 2. has the texture changed? 3 has the scent changed or gone off? Sadly a few did not pass the test!

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in F-Bomb: Ok, this is my all time fave red lipstick. They don’t even make the Revolution Lipsticks any more! I’ve had this in my stash FOREVER. But they did revive the shade in the new Vice Lipstick line, so I’ll have to check it out to see how the formulation compares. As you can see in the photo on the left, the colour is going off – it almost looks dusty or fuzzy (GROSS).

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Lovelight: This one has started to dry out, and the scent is just starting to go off. I like the shade, but I don’t love it, so I’m not sad about pitching this one.

Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss lip Colour in Adrenaline: This one is also a discontinued product. It had dried out terribly and the scent has gone off. I used to love this pink toned metallic red, but haven’t worn it in a very long time.

Tarte LipSurgence Natural Lip Luster in Buff: I mostly only ever used this one as a lipstick topper. The texture and scent have changed, and I think that the colour has also gone off. I don’t remember the last time that I’ve worn this.

Hair, Bath and Body:

Empties - Feb 2017

Bausch & Lomb Re-Nu Contact Lens Solution: Not my absolute fave contact lens solution, but I love that they make a travel size version. I just got new contacts again (finally), so I’ve been wearing my glasses less often.

Nu World Botanicals Multi-Nutritive Oil in Energy Boost*: I absolutely LOVE this stuff! I use it in the bath, in my hair, on my body after a shower. I want to replace this, but until I use up a few more things in my stash, it is going on my wishlist. Original review is here.

Hask Argan Oil Repairing Conditioner: I finished the shampoo up in the previous month. This is a great shampoo for hair that is dry. I’d like to try more from Hask, but again, until I clear out more of my stash, I won’t be buying any more shampoo or conditioner. Original review is here.

Herban Cowboy For Her, Maximum Protection Deodorant in Love: I just could not finish this one. It really does not work with my body chemistry. At all. It makes me smell worse than if I had skipped deodorant completely. Yuck. Original review is here.

There you have it, all the empties and trash for the month of February. I’m making progress in cutting down the size of my stash, and spending less money.

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day! ❤

Disclosure: Purchased by me, except for products marked with an * (PR sample). However my opinion is my own regardless of whether I purchased the product or got it for free.

Saje Natural Wellness Pocket Pharmacy

Hello, hello!

Today I’m sharing the Pocket Farmacy Remedy Kit from Saje Natural Wellness.

Saje Natural Wellness Pocket Pharmacy

Inside the zipped Pocket Farmacy are five remedies: Peppermint Halo, Immune, Eater’s Digest, Stress Release and Pain Release in 6ml (0.2 fl oz) bottles, as well as an instructional leaflet that contains info on each of the five remedies, as well as instructions for use.

STRESS RELEASE (for tension reducing)

Saje Natural Wellness Pocket Farmacy

To support a sense of balance and calm the spirit, apply to forehead, neck and shoulders. Put several drops on a tissue and inhale deeply or insert into pillowcase before bed. Add 10-25 drops to a bowl of steaming water; inhale deeply for 5-10 minutes. Add 7-12 drops to a full bath and swish to disperse well. For prolonged use, consult a doctor.

PAIN RELEASE (for muscular aches, tenseness, stiffness, an analgesic)

Saje Natural Wellness Pocket Farmacy

Apply to affected area not more than 3-4 times daily. Not recommended for children under 12 years of age.

Let me tell you, the Immune one got a LOT of use over the holidays when I was sick!

I’ve tried all of them out over the past several weeks, and I’m so happy that I bought this little aromatherapy kit for myself as all five remedies are things that I’ve used and will continue to use in the new year.

Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day! ❤

Hello, hello!

Saje Natural Wellness Sweet Lips & Tingle Lips

Today I’m reviewing two lip balms from Saje Natural Wellness – the Sweet Lips and the Tingle Lips balms (information in italics taken from the Saje website).

I’m a lip balm addict, and had so many in my stash to use up, that these might be the first lip balms that I’ve purchased in nearly two years!

The review:
These lip balms are so good that I don’t know which one I love more! They both work amazingly well to hydrate my lips. I love the sweet fennel scent of Sweet Lips, and the minty scent and tingle of Tingle Lips.
Are you a lip balm addict as well? How many do you have in your stash? I used to have several in each room as well as at least one in every purse. I’m now down to three stick type lip balms, and two in tins.

Saje AromaGem Ultrasonic Diffuser / Nebulizer

Saje Natural Wellness

Hello, hello!

I’ve recently given a sneak peak of my recent Saje Natural Wellness purchase on my InstaGram.

Saje Natural Wellness

Saje has several different nebulizer / diffusers on their website. I picked the AromaGem Ultrasonic Nebulizer / Diffuser for two reasons, the first being that it is really beautiful, and the second being that it has both continual and intermittent mist function.
Since purchasing the AromaGem, I’ve been using it daily, in my office / living room and in the bedroom at night. I’m planning purchasing a second one so I don’t have to be carrying it from one end of the house to the other. *descriptions in italics taken from the website*
PURIFYING. AROMATIC. INVITING.
Infuse your air with the vitality of nature and create a soothing atmosphere by diffusing 100% natural essential oils. Add a splash of chic to any space with this decorative gem.

I find that it runs for way longer than two to four hours before turning itself off – the auto-shut off is another great feature of this little machine.
As well, I also purchased the Good Health Diffuser Blend Collection which contains four of Saje’s diffuser blends: Tranquility, Stress Release, Liquid Sunshine and Immune.
Saje Natural Wellness
Saje Natural Wellness
Tranquility (Roman Chamomile, Lavender, Ylang Ylang) – Create an oasis of calm and promote restful thoughts amidst the busyness of your day with this relaxing essential oil blend. Perfect for bedtime or when you want a little downtime. This one is great. I’ve been using this one before going to bed.
Stress Release (Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Orange) – Reach for this powerful blend of grounding essential oils to soothe feelings of mild anxiety, restlessness or nervousness by supporting deep relaxation and calm. I’ve used this one both during the day and at night, it is a nice calming scent.
Liquid Sunshine – Fill your room with cheery radiance and uplifting spirits. Bright, citrus notes of grapefruit, lime and a dash of bergamot will bring the feeling of a fresh spring morning to mind. This one is my favourite of the bunch, it is such a bright scent.
Immune – Relieve symptoms of flu such as colds and cough by diffusing the therapeutic benefits of comforting eucalyptus, warming cinnamon and soothing myrrh. This one is great if you are feeling under the weather.
I’ve since ordered a few more essential oil blends during the Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales. That package just arrived last week and I’ve not had a chance to try everything out.
Do you have a diffuser? What is your favourite blend to use?
Thanks for reading and have a beautiful day! ❤
